Cheaper here and would recommend them over gearbest

    • totally agree with you. DWI in my opinion has a better reputation than gearbest too.

    • I would recommend buying from their ebay store instead. There are reports on Whirlpool that they prioritise those over orders from website

  • This phone has same camera sensor as the rip-off google Pixels if anyone cares, not sure about how that translates to quality though.

All Chinese companies source their camera modules from either Sony, Samsung or Omnivision.

I must say, the Mi5s Pro looks interesting

And yes, No Band 28 before anyone starts jumping up and down.

  • IMX378 by Sony

Not really cheap price, you can get cheaper price on ebay.

Compared its specs with the Mi5. In my opinion a high price of Mi5s just doesn't justify the difference in the specs at the moment, unless if it was an Mi5s Plus.

Considering what a disappointment the Google Pixel phones are

You might think they're overpriced, but they're in no way "a disappointment."

    • +1

That is however, the main disappointment, given Googles past with earlier Nexus models being well spec'd and affordable.

hopefully as band 28 is rolloed out in more countries the manufacturers will support it more with their phones.

working inside a large office building, and being in a near dead zone for all mobile carriers at my house, band 28 is a must for me to have any kind of signal these days - went from 0 to flakey 1 bar to 2 bars at home which goes to full reception once i'm out my little lane.

tempted to go for the asus zenfone 3 deluxe as it supports band 28, but feeling a bit burned with their SLLOOOOOWWWWWWW updating of android.

    • Hopefully they'll drop an International model with Band 28 in the next few months =)
