  I'd avoid the G1W models. I've had 2 now and both broke quickly and easily (in different ways). My last one froze 6 months ago. It looks like it's working but it's not recording (I had no need to check the footage) and it's not responsive to any buttons being pressed.

  The two dashcams I ordered from them along with a heap of other stuff never turned up. Wasted 6 weeks waiting and fighting for a refund. Buyer beware.

    Here's what I said in the other post.

    I have 28 transactions at gearbest, just NEVER EVER use the unregistered mail as a delivery method it will take forever to arrive. I use the line shipping for things I don't need right away and the DHL Express Shipping when I want the item in the same week. Bought Xiaomi phones and tablets from them never had a problem. Their customer service response time is a bit slow though. Seems to me everyone that complains used their Regular shipping.

    The issue is with the cheap regular post from china, from what I heard customs is really hard on these packages and it uses the slowest cheapest method to get there. I notice from all these threads anyone complaining used the unregistered mail option as shipping. I did that myself once and it took two months to receive my package. Never again.

  Brought a A119 after a long frustration with a cheap one bought at Groupon. The old one which I put in the bin could never hold power for more than 5 days. So fully charge on Monday morning when I needed to use the car on Friday the shi..t old dash cam could not turn it on due lack of power. The cable in the car was not enough to charge the dash cam and record at the same time.

  I bought the A119 using Australia Post which says I should receive between 7 to 15 days. Hopefully will not take for ever like the posts above.

    Dashcams aren't meant to run off the internal battery, it's mainly for recording about 10 seconds of footage after you turn off the ignition & shutting down.

    I think there are some that will record when there is impact to your car, but I don't think there are any that are on 24/7 cause of the battery drainage.
