  just for kicks I checked to see if there was a maximum discount, I chose a $6000 deal and applied the code and it took the full 15% $600 off. wow, that would be a deal if I were going to buy it!

  Just tried on a deal on LivingSocial.
  It gave no discount despite saying it had applied the code.

  Note: Deal was on a timed discount that was running out in 9:30 seconds,
  so maybe you cannot get both.

  But be warned, although it says it will apply the discount on the next page…
  It didn't for me. Just charged my PayPal. :(

  Anyhow deal was good enough. I won't sweat it.

    With the times codes, it's usually only 10%. When you apply a different code, the timed code disappears so you get the new discount on the original price.
    Was the deal over $29? If it wasn't and you put in this code, it would have cancelled the timed code and then denied this one as it is less than $29.

      As it turned out they gave me a equivalent credit for next time.
      So it was worth asking.
