I don't know what part of Canberra you live in, but it often feels to me like the place is absolutely friggin packed in the centre and inner north side, even moreso when there's any kind of event on.
And yeah Kingsley's chicken tastes better than KFC.
It is a lot more favorite than KFC, will try again next time when I'm in Canberra.
Yeah, you're right. In the city during the day it's busy as all hell, public servants and whatnot. Come 6pm and it's dead almost everywhere. Everything closes at 5:30 except major supermarkets/some convenience stores. Everyone just commutes home and repeats 5 days a week.

FML wish I had seen this earlier, got the KFC 9 today and it was rubbish as always, I had maybe 1 good experience out of 10 at this store, this time I even asked to wait for a fresh batch of chicken, but still ended up too oily (soggy, not crispy) and overcooked (dry chicken). It's not bloody hard to make juicy, crispy fried chicken. I would have driven 30 min extra just to go to my nearest Kingsleys if I'd known this deal was on. KFC need to get their game together, or at least the 3 nearest KFC's to my house, all suck. Their normal prices are insane given the trash they serve up.
Bummer… I just had my Kingsleys and it was delicious ;-)
Do they have hot and spicy?
I'd avoid one in Tuggers - got sick twice from there. I'm not going to detail any further given we are discussing food here.
Someone whom I knew who worked there a while ago did say their kitchen hygiene was a bit questionable.
