reviews look good on this.
An amazing machine - and a good price. Don't think I've seen them on the outlet for much cheaper than this
Same price at the Dell outlet but has 256gb SSD, this may have longer warranty though
NOpe. 1 year
Dell XPS with 7th Gen Intel Processors (Kaby Lake) is right around the corner. Might be worth holding out. Nevertheless, XPS 13 are awesome laptops.
They're actually being sold right now.
Does anyone know when the new XPS15 is going to be released?? Might wait out for that
Not anytime soon. They haven't released Quad Core Kaby Lake processors.
Expect to see them in Australia in January imo.http://cdn.wccftech.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/7th-gen.j…
Saw it at Broadway last Thursday on display, not sure if it's the Gen you're after but check out their page - https://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers-tablets/laptops/dell/del…
Have you checked the 5510s? http://www.dell.com/us/business/p/precision-m5510-workstatio…
Slightly more cutting edge?
Wot?

Unless you meant 7th gen … But that seems a tad eager.
You're better off buying it from the Dell Outlet. They have over 20 at this price and you get double the storage and same warranty.
do you have a direct link to it? went to dell website, can only see xps 13 with 256G ssd for 1699
Talk to the live chat and quote the bundle no.

Just wait until the 20% off ebay sale tomorrow. The price will most likely be less than $1499 with the discount from the Dell ebay store.
The link is

For those wondering a Signature Edition PC has no bloatware, adware or trialware on it. It's just a clean install of Windows, which is quite appealing these days.
Is this thing new or is it 2015 edition? The 6200U is slightly weaker than the SP4's 6300U right?
Yeah but Windows still auto installs crapps like candy crush I'll bet.
Careful..Mine and a lot of others have coil whine with xps
had to return one as well.
I don't think they'll ever fix it. The new KL processors on XPS have coil whine too. It's a design flaw as far as i know..
nver had any issue with mine xps i7. actually i didnt even know what coil whine was and had to google it.
It sounds like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Brxj_Q_k2mg
Can this be charged soley using USB-C? I see the included charger is 45w, where as USB-C chargers can vary. Im guessing it would just charge slower?
Not sure… I've only used it with the Dell dock (http://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/accessories/apd/450-aeuo) which uses USB-C, works great on that.
Sale finishes 11:59pm on 4 October 2016.
