  I have a cheap old ulefone Be Pro cpu is 1500mhz 4 cores (MT6732) and 2gb ram and it runs Pokemon Go fine for my nutty second account lol, so this phone should be alright, slower CPU but 8 core and a Friggen huge battery, wow.

  I'm trying to understand more of these Chinese high spec android phones. This may sound like a silly question but would these phone have an English OS? Thanks

    My understanding is that it is android basically, but it comes out of the box in Chinese. So you gotta go (in Chinese) to settings> languages> English. You can google it and find screenshots if stuck - have done similarly for mums xiaomi. After that's done though, you should be sweet as a biscuit.

    its not that common for them to come in chinese by default, even though they are china branded, unless you managed to buy the localised version, most of these shipping to international are defaulted in english out of box, as it is with android.

      It's back to the $130USD price at the moment.

      So looks like Oz 4G not supported? I did the willmyphonework check, and it came back as "Device is compatible with some of the network carriers frequencies. It may work."

  Has one German review on Banggood, translated:

In the dark, the photos have slight image noise. Negative is only the relatively thick black border around the screen. The weight of just 234 grams is comfortable, considering the size.
