These are absolute garbage. Bought the new Bosch blue version (which is supposed to be even better) couple of weeks ago for $150. Very cheaply made, plasticky, no bass or decent sound quality. Avoid.

I've gone back to a Sangean from Costco. Much better quality and sound and a better price at $69.99 http://www.fairdinks.com.au/sangean-toughbox-worksite-radio/
These are around $130 elsewhere.

We had some tradies in, who were actually really good guys, but their choice in music reminded me of this. D-Gen 5 in a row, and 5 more in a row. The music around now is the same from my youth and I'm more hippy than hipster.
