How dare you compare a Leica with Nexus? (Although the P9 has nothing much to do with Leica, except advertising…)
And "Leica" watermark on the photos you take on this phone!! You can proudly post those photos to social website then. :p
Good phone though.
I'll take this one over Nexus 6P for the expandable memory and the right size for my hand/pocket, however someone might like the latest pure Android experience. Both offer great camera experiences, among the best if you comparing last year's flagships :P
Nice price. I bought it for $799 a few weeks ago :(
have you noticed their code name for the phone is a firm nod to the Evangelion unit names.
what is this?L09 is Australian release model, isn't it?
L09 is the model number that has one sim and NFC. The country codes are numbers that are after the L09. It's a set of 3 numbers. L09 is the model with all the bands that we use in Australia too. I think it's even got band 28, I have never been without 4G or 4G+ anyways.
Bought this for the missus, camera is absolutely stunning.
but the camera doesn't have stabiliser which makes the video footage "drunk" a bit.
I have this phone, it's freaking amazing. The camera is mind-blowingly good, it's not a point and shoot camera, in that you need to tweak settings etc, but when you do, it's incredible! I'm almost glad my LG G4 bootlooped, because this is what I purchased to replace it.
The battery life and display are excellent - and expandable storage is killer.
I second that. Great camera performance I must say!
i read others having major issues with QD ebay page for warranty issues i been looking at getting a new phone with decent camera are there any android phones coming out with a better camera soon?
Would anyone be able to clarify whether this got gesture screen-unlock such as knock-on feature?
My main concern is when the phone sits on a table or on a car mount,it would be easier to unlock the screen without having to pick it up and touch the fingerprint scanner. Double tap on the screen to wake is a very useful feature when you don't have a physical home button.
only sony xperia Z2 series onwards has this function "double tap to wake". Not sure new X series.
LG was the first to introduce it to Android (Knock-On was their name for it), so fairly certain they'd all have it.
Back to the question, Smart Lock is a serviceable alternative to having to avoid using the fingerprint scanner/pin.
I had LG G2 and HTC M8. Both had Double-tap-to-wake feature.
I believe it doesn't according to this http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/help/double-tap-to-wake-t…
is it recommended over nexus 6p ?
