  AFAIK Netflix is restricted to SD / 480p (?), and not sure if you can download Stan etc, so what do you guys mainly use these cheap Android boxes for…Kodi?

      presto at least refuses to run on rooted devices, which would include this.
      Netflix will work, but poorly.
      Kodi is great on these.

        The last one I bought wasn't rooted. I just need a way for it not to detect FoxtelGo playing on an external monitor. Kodi is great on them though.

      Presto won't work either, it only works on a very limited number of android devices, Google Nexus Player being one of them.

        Honestly, all these VOD services like stan, netflix and Presto are better off used over Chromecast, not just for compatibility issues, ease of use as well.

  I've used the Tanix TX5 (S905X) and Plex works fine but a few shows sound didnt work (I use optical). I see Plex did an update last night but i haven't tested to see if it's fixed

    Bought one, just got emailed by seller saying item was incorrectly listed, its the 1Gb RAM version.

    I lodged a claim for refund.
