Not showing up as discounted item in QLD. What am I doing wrong?

    • +1

Got it… Shows up in cart as discounted. Sorry about that, chief.

  • +2

Also these prices at Ray's for the 20% off eBay deal if it's any more convenient for people (and 1.25% cashback with Cashrewards)

    • No stock in WA for rays. But definitely good to look at as well.

    • Can you please send me the link to this as I can't find it on eBay

      • +1

I'm looking at buying the Q2000

        • +1

Is there any discount code for this ?

        • +1
        • Godammit. I pondered over it too long and Ray's removed their listings. BCF it is i guess! Yeeeeeahh tiny Rick!

  • +1

how long is the sale ?

    • +1

Ends at midnight on the 8th of September

      • +1

Thankyou for that just in time for summer bbqs :)

  • +1

Q2000 prob best option for portability ie camping and small home bbq?

    • Correct, probably best in-between option

  • +1

I can't get the 20% off for some reason. Am logged in but the price for the baby q stays at $319 all the way to submit payment.

    • +1

Think you may need to sign up to bcf club

      • +1

By stating I was logged in, I was suggesting I am signed up. Might be existing members only.

  • anyone know if you can convert these Weber Q series to NG instead of LPG

    • They come in NG versions as well

  • +2

It is worth noting that the likes of BCF do not stock the "Special Edition" Webers which are only $10 more than standard.
Your $10 extra gets you a higher lid for bigger roasts, a thermometer on said lid, electronic ignition and optional black colour

    • +1

Inregards to the higher lids - given these roast like an oven presumably it will be slower to heat up, cool faster with lid open and need burners turned up higher (i.e. use more gas) to achieve the same temperature, so there is presumably a down side as well. I have a normal family Q and have never found the lid to be shallow, and I use a wireless meat thermometer to measure the temp at the centre of the meat anyway…

    • +1

      Yeh neither do rays

      • Yep only specialised resellers. Very best you'll get out of them is likely 10%

    • Just bought the black Q2200 at barbecues galore, and have a Q2000 (normal)
The Q2200 is worth the extra money for the space and inbuilt thermometer. IMHO

      • +1

At around $440 compared to $315? Not IMO.

        • Agreed mate,
At the price point its hard to not buy it but as a contributor to Ozbargain, the differences outway the extra money, and i'm a Scottish blooded tightass ozy.

    • That's $10 more than standard at full RRP, not $10 more than 20% (or if you stack the 10% bonus gift cards ~28%).

  • +1

Just signed it up, no magic after adding to cart, still $319 for q1000. Not sure if it's only for previous club members.

    • +1

      same here :(

      • Weird, it's even advertised on their web page so you wouldn't think so. Try send them an email / call?

        • +3

I ended up contacting them, there was a problem with their system. Had to get a custom coupon made to purchase the Weber Q (Q2000) I was looking at. Good thing though, as I was also able to stack the 10% bonus gift cards from Coles; but had to go in store to get them to convert the 3 $100 cards I bought to a single card.

All in all I ended up with the Q2000 for ~$315, not bad at all.

        • +1

          @ASeawright: hell yeah!

        • @ASeawright: How can I get 10% bonus in BCF or Coles ?

        • @GDragon: Coles offer expired.Entertainment Book has BF 10% off offer. But please remember you only can use one gift card for each transaction when you pay on line.

        • @snowymathhew: Thanks. I'll remember I can only use one gift card for each transaction.

        • @snowymathhew: awesome thanks for the heads up. How does it work - do you log into the Entertainment Book site and can only order virtual gift cards in $100 increments I take it? And no problems changing over the cards in store? Might have to get a family member's logon!

        • +1

@snowymathhew: You can go into any BCF store and ask them to load all the credit from a bunch of cards onto a single card. That's what I did, and how I got the Q2000 for ~$315.

        • @ASeawright: hey mate, any chance you can share your special code bcf gave you for the 10% off? I tried with them for 2 days but didn't end up getting any joy. Can PM me if prefer. Cheers in advanced.

        • +1

          @kevsta89: PM with code sent

        • @ASeawright: Thanks mate. I bought from DJ. But will keep your advice for next time.

        • @snowymathhew: Thanks brother, I owe you a coldy for that! Worked a treat. Cheers again.

        • @kevsta89: does that mean you got 10% on top of the existing 20%? I'm having trouble having the discounted price show up in my cart anyway. Sent them a screenshot showing it so i'm hoping they will honour it with a 20% off code :/

        • @Chickenleg: No I used the code for a fridge which were only 10% off, not 20% like the Webers. Couldn't get any discount working on the fridges online through my account but snowymathhew's code worked for me.

        • @kevsta89: Ah right, nice!

  • +1

not showing the discounts as well? any idea whats going on anyone? thanks!

    • +1

Is working for me maybe only for exsisting members?

  • +1

I joined this morning and contacted them to request a coupon code send to my email account. But I ended up Getting DJ to price match then used all the DJ gift card accumulated via AMEX offer Very Happy . Cheers to OP

    • +1

Where is DJ ? I have no idea. =[

  • +1

    DJ=David Jones

    • +1

      Oh, thanks alot. =]

  • +1

Ok BCF fans, quick question - does anyone know if these 20% off sales happen often? I ordered a $300 egift card from Entertainment Book this morning, courtesy of the advice above from user snowymatthew. It did state it would take up to two days to process but I'm hoping it'll come before the sale finishes tonight, otherwise I'll have to hang onto them until the next sale.

    • +1

Last one was about 3 months ago, and I'm sure they'll have something in December/Jan

      • +1

        Thanks Rick. Wubalubadubdub.
