This is a good alternative if you have an Android device,
works really well.
Cheapest decent plex/Netflix client?
Not sure if it's the cheapest, but I've been relatively happy with mine. Main issue I had was the remote breaking (the main button broke a tab when dropped, and now only stays in place with sticky tape.
I think a Roku Stick can be had for not much more. Personally I'd be looking at that if I was buying again.
Thanks for the feedback :)
Are these any good? Do you get kodi on this and does it work plugged into power if so being from usa will it jave usa plug?
Looking for something for bedroom to get kodi unsure if this any goodHow to install kodi:
http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/media-streamers/1404248/how-t…A (US) power adapter is include
the power is supplied via usb (the plug supplies is a USB plug pack) so if you have usb on your tv it's no problem.
if you want kodi you want to install the paradox build. it's what i use daily.
For Kodi why don't you just download it to your android/ios phone and use it with a chromecast. The phone basically becomes a touchscreen Kodi remote. No keyboard/mouse needed.
How do i install koi on my iPhone? thanks for the heads up?

Although much easier with a jailbroken phoneThanks mate. i don't bother jailbreaking these days
@Bellpop:
Yeah no worries. Well it's possible on a non-jailbroken device as per the the link.
Or if you want a dedicated Kodi setup use any old smartphone lying around or just buy an android phone for under $50 and use that. Throw in a micro SD card to catalog your current collection or just stream as you would normally. You get a kodi streamer and a back-up phone in one. No chromecast? Buy a chinese chromecast-like device on ebay for under $5 :)@jdogg: wowsers. you should have a blog! I have a pretty sweet plex setup at home run from a mac mini and use apple tv 4 as the client. i have about 5 mates who watch our library remotely. looking for the neatest/simplest/relatively cheap client for a friend. The Apple TV 4 is idea but too expensive.
Now to find a suitable keyboard\mouse combo for my Kodi setup.
