Decent price on this wireless keyboard. Excellent for your Mac mini or media centre.
Note: This is the older (and now cheaper) model. Newer models are also available.

Cheapest it's been (on Amazon) in a couple of years

All up including shipping to Sydney cost me $39.36.

  • Logitech Wireless Touch Keyboard K400 USD $19.92 ($28 AUD) delivered from Amazon

    It is $19.92 + $8.72 USD delivery = $28.65 USD delivered.

    • The item value (at least for me) was AUD $27.37.
Thought I would just round up to $28.00 to allow for rate fluctuations.

I have only quoted the item value in the title. Not the shipping. Didn't want to include shipping in title since it might vary.

Shipping for me was AUD $11.99. So total was AUD $39.36

      • Never mind, hamza23 had fixed up for you.

        • Oh I see. The formatting was incorrect?
Sorry. I just copied the formatting from a previous deal.

Cheapest it's been in a couple of years!

Cheapest on Amazon, maybe, but both K400 and K400R have been cheaper locally in the last year.

Yep, I got my k400r for less than $25 aud last time. Also, this is the old one. Get the k400 plus.

      • Did you buy the K400R locally?

    • Yep. Ok. Have updated to just Amazon.
Looks like Eb Games and Officeworks had a very limited run of clearence stock which dramatically dropped the price.

    • Dick Smith was practically giving them away, got 1 for $15 and 2 for $12.50 or something. Love mine for HTPC though. Can use the same USB and have a few set up to use with it.

Logitech K400 Plus is $25 when using the $25 store credit from Good Guys:

    • What is the $25 store credit? Link?

This is the real deal - thanks :)

    • Just read that the minimum purchase price needs to be $50. So you'd need to buy something else small with the $49 keyboard!

    • And unfortunately the Goodguys deal ends tomorrow and like you said, you wouldn't receive your first $25 store credit for a few weeks :(

      • So you'd need to buy something else small

Yeah, although there are plenty of items for $1 on the Good Guys site.

the Goodguys deal ends tomorrow and like you said, you wouldn't receive your first $25 store credit for a few weeks

Everyone already got their first voucher last Friday:

        • Oooh ok. Will give it a try now.

        • "Success!! You are now subscribed to The Good Guys digital catalogue."

No text as yet. I have a bad feeling they send the texts out on a Friday (Catalogue day).

        • Don't suppose anyone would like to "lend" me their code so I could use it tonight. I will give them my code next Friday when I get it.

    • I had planned getting this with my voucher but as someone says you need to spend $50 its $49??

    • The GoodGuys sale on this has been extended by a few more days until 04 Sept. Still $49.00. Just bought it with the $25 store credit. Thanks @kirt. Finally!

      • Haha nice ;)

I meant to say the cheapest on Amazon for years, which I have now changed. Apologies.

A lot of those links were for clearance stock from Dick Smith, Officeworks etc. Great price at the time if you were lucky enough to get one. The deals on the K400 Plus looked interesting. I wonder if those Ebay deals included shipping?

Anyway looks like the Goodguys $25 store credit mentioned above is probably the cheapest deal at the moment.

But honestly this keyboard has not changed much in three models. They've moved and changed some buttons. That's about it. So I reckon the 400 should still do the job.

    • plus any good?

i got a microsoft all in one over the k400 for about $30 when it went on sale and pricematched with OW.

All in one is great except the F keys can't be turned off - i.e. f4 = sleep, and f5 = search.

only difference i can see is that K400plus is backlit. not convinced its necessary..?

      • One of the differences I could see was compatibity with newer operating systems. But I think that's just a symptom of the year it was released. If I plugged a K400 into a system running Windows 10 I bet it would work just fine. They've changed some buttons and moved them around a bit. Dunno about any other significant "upgrades". Backlit would actually be pretty cool especially if you're using it a for controlling your media centre in a dimly lit room.

Where did you read it was backlit? Can't seem to see this as an advertised fature.

  • Good item, I bought it cheaper last year.

  • Yep, good item, but not a deal.

Just to confirm it is not backlit, that is the k830
