        it was meant to be active at 7pm which the listing doesnt actually mention on the cotd site, given the promo hasnt even started yet and the public are waiting tells me it was not really well thought out, by 7.05 when they are all sold out should be interesting to see if those likes actually received a pen.

        personally i have way to many pens

    Urgh, CrapOTD marketing gimmick via Facebook…

    Are they keeping track of who becomes a fan via facebook, or whatever it is now,
    to ensure that those who click it actually get it, or will it just be a free-for-all at 7pm when the servers crash??

    Theres gonna be backfire when their servers do crash, as usual, and those that did actually think they were going to get one, miss out, or get frustrated and give up because they cant even access the website to login to their account, let alone complete the order process, before it crashes midway.

    Considering the misunderstandings already here, over whether it's sold out, their website isn't even able to handle "Deal Commences at 7pm"
    They couldnt even get someone to remove the "Sold Out" notification until the deal goes live??..

    Not exactly well thought out, and it will probably end in bloodshed.

    In any case im pretty sure that CrapOTD pairing with Facebook for anything is a sign of the forthcoming apocalypse.
    Ozbargainers will fight the Facebookies, armed only with ipod screen protectors, sd card readers, mocks, and in the end, when all seems lost for both sides, those lucky few armed with Parker Pens worth $10 at your local newsagent will do battle to the death for supremacy……
