I got one of these off deal extreme, I found the speed to be really slow.
these are okay, just be warned they are VERY slow.
Mine overheated (burning to touch) and died after a couple uses. Would not recommend - a brand name card reader may seem stupidly expensive, but at least they have quality control.
anyone know of a good FAST preferably interanal card reader that doesnt cost too much… most of the ones ive had read at about 4-5, had one that read at about 15, but it kept failing and wouldnt read my UDMA card…
i was thinking about getting this one which apparantly read about 30MBs a second (half of the cards 60 but better than the 15 or so max ive gotten in the past..) shame it only does CF though… mainly need it for CF but would be handy if it did others as well.

erm, internal readers usually sit in the computer and have the slots on the outside….as opposed to external which connect via USB and and sit outside your case…
im thinking your thinking like a HDD where you cant see it, its more like a internal DVD…..they are internal but still accessible….
not a bargain, you can get these off ebay for less than $5 anytime.
