  • Anyone with experience with these? I use a varidesk at work that I really like, but am reluctant to fork out the same for my home office.

    • Got a Varidesk as well. Well worth the money albeit I got it cheap on eBay.

A couple of us at work got the Officeworks version. Its not as good as the varidesk but it is less than half the price. The only drawbacks are that it is not as wide and not as tall (and arguably not as sexy) :)

I wouldn't get this one. Looks cumbersome to adjust and only fits one monitor… pahlease!

    • We have the $180 ones from officeworks, they work great. As we need to fit two monitors on and this doesn't seem big enough for that.

      • Dammit I paid $219 only a couple months ago!

      • +1

I had one of the office works Wynston Sit-Stand desks and was rather disappointed at how it held up. After a month or so the gas struts would no longer support the weight of my two not very heavy monitors (one in portrait, well below the weight limits) when raising up and down. I had to remove a monitor everytime I wanted to lower or raise it. The mechanism is a bit fiddly to use and the whole thing would flex and drag and move across my desk when raising.

It's ok for one monitor and at half the price of the vari-desk, but I think I learned my lesson and am now looking at getting a vari-desk instead.

        • Really? That's a shame. I hope you brought it back. We've had ours for a while now and both are fine. Mine had two very heavy samsung monitors on it and it was a bit harder to raise but other than that no probs.
