    What's the "Get a US $14.00 coupon"?

    • +2

ah I was looking at that earlier - that shop coupon is only valid for orders over 140 bucks or something like that

Took me ages to figure out why it wasn't applying!

  • +4

Got mine from previous deal yesterday. Can't speak for performance cause haven't used yet, but it's pretty well built. Came with at least half charge, but I've been charging for about 18 hours at ~3A and it's still not full 😐 taking a while

    • Yeah i got mine from previously deal today, they seem well built. Also don't know about performance.

    • +1

Make sure you use a Quick charge 3.0 adapter to charge it, otherwise you'll be charging it at some incredibly slow rate.

      • +4

This has only quick charge 3.0 output, no input. 20+ hours charging sounds about right.

        • +1

The manual says: "Use Quick Charge 3.0 Charger Adapter with Micro-USB Input can dramatically shorten the charging time." under "Charging your Power Bank".

        • +3

          @Sturmeh:

          "Micro-USB Input: 5V 2.4A
          Lightning Input: 5V 2.4A "

Amazon reviews back this up, don't see any mention of it charging via QC2.0/3.0 (which should charge it in 8-9 hours max).

        • @raven2000: The manual could be lying, but I'm just quoting the manual.

      • Yeah it's in a tronsmart QC 2.0 charge slot

    • Ouch… Yeah I would rather get a good 20000mah with QC2.0/3.0 INPUT (this one only has output), it will charge faster (4-5 hours), and be less bulky.

    • +1

Did you ship via PostNL/is your tracking number saying arrived in AU? Mine still is in transit to destination country, worrying that I haven't got it yet?

      • +1

Still waiting for mine that was bought 18 Jul 2016. The seller (Lu Lida) has really poor communication skills. The seller told me on 2 Aug 2016 my items were returned…. and asked if she can resend (of course you should resend it!)

For screwing up the deliver and wasting two weeks, (otherwise the seller lied since parcels can't deliver that fast) I asked her to resend but with express shipping as a very warranted request to compensate for the 2 weeks lost. Seller replied she will resend. I further insisted express shipping for screwing up my order.

I asked the seller for the express tracking number on 8 Aug 2016 but she doesn't understand and keeps saying she will resend. (Didn't you not resend a week ago??!)

I asked the seller on 9 Aug 2016 has the items been resent? The seller keeps asking me if I want the item resent!! (What a complete idiot!)

        • Yeah, this is why I always tend to avoid AliExpress/China stuff. For the 1% with a good experience, the rest of the time you get shafted. I'd rather pay a small premium to not have to deal with this.

        • @Terra Australis: It's a supply chain bruh, aussie merchants won't take responsibility for any problems, only want to be the middle men and avoid accountability the ACCC enforces on merchants

    • I got mine yesterday too. How would I know if it is full or not? :/

      • The green charging light will turn solid white when fully charge. took me about 22 hours to charge

    • I got the same thing. It's been charging for more than 12 hours, still not full.

    • In one of the earlier ozbargain threads, someone said you could use both the micro usb and lightning inputs simultaneously.

So 4.8A, or around 24W input total.

  • Ordered one - charged $39.02 (29.64 USD) on my coles prepaid mastercard

    edit: crap forgot cashrewards!!!

    • I ordered one, $39.56 when I went to pay. Payment failed, one wrong number in card number, re-did payment, $39.55. It must just play the money market at the time. Weird.

Warning for people buying this (just got mine today), it weighs an (profanity) brick. It's 600g, 15x8.5cm and 3cm thick.

    • Is the flashlight at a useful brightness? Just wondering if it's a gimmick or not.

      • +1

Gimmick mostly (single led), but it's basically a light source that should theoretically always work.

    • That's why I was hoping for a nice price on the xiaomi 20000mAh PB. Supposed weighs 338g…

    • +5

No shit, it's 30,000 mAh, i.e. 10 phone batteries side by side.

      • +1

Not really how it works, but good analogy lol

  • Does the powerbank charge itself with QC 3.0?

    • +4

It can't charge devices whilst being charged, so I couldn't test if it created infinite energy. :(

  • Missed this last time. Been waiting for it to come live again! Thanks for the post…

  • Is this 30,000mAh @ 5.0V or 3.6V?

    • Micro USB Input: 5V 2.4
      Lighting Input: 5V 2.4 A
      Output 1 (QC 3.0):DC 5V-6.5V/3A, 6.5V-9V/2A, 9V-12V/1.5A
      Output 2(AiPower):DC 5V 2.4 A

      • +2

        That isn't his question.

He's asking if it has 30,00mAh of power at 5.0v or 3.6v.

        Its often 3.6v

      • What's the situation with Lu Lida refusing to ship to Australia? A lot of us haven't received our items from your Jul promo let alone this Aug promo

      • Still the same shipping problem as your last deal, OP

    • +2

      3.6V, it's just phone batteries.

  • Would be good if this one could jump start cars too

  • Mine came yesterday. This thing is big and heavy.

  • got 10000~20000 mAh model? 30000is way too big for me….

  • Do these store well? Could i charge it and keep it in the car for a few months?

    • Batteries don't like being in the heat. Some of the charge will drain.

      • That's fair enough. What about in a normal environment. From a full charge, how long roughly until they discharge beyond say…50%?

        • +1

manual recommends charging once a month.

  • +1

I still haven't received mine from last deal, just a heads up so postage could take a while

  • how much does this weigh?

    • 600g

      • hmm thanks!

  • Got one thanks OP!

    Hi guys

can this power bank charge Lenovo Yoga 900 laptop?

    • Doesn't that still need 19v? Check what the power brick is rated at

  • Just got this today from the last deal. Its very heavy, so I wouldn't recommend taking this out as a daily unless you got a backpack to carry the thing. The Cable it comes with is ULTRA short, maybe 10cm long? I HIGHLY recommend getting a cable along with this.

For those pokemon trainers out there, wouldn't recommend the 30,000 version as its heavy and overkill. Get a 5,000Mah battery that outputs at least 2AMPS.

    • Don't mind the short cable actually, free short USB A to USB C cable, harder to find those than anything.

  • +1

Damn, just ordered one of these for $51 yesterday. Oh well.

  • +1

$29.03 USD with aliexpress app (just put m. instead of www. to see the app's price on a desktop cpu) Well it's not much but for cheap stuff like $10, it can cost $9 on ali app so it's like a 10% off (e.g. chinese earbuds). Unfortunatly, some cashback website don't work on apps.

  • What is a good 2000mAH fast charging one, fast charging for both in and out?

  • +3

Aukey seems to have decided they're not shipping any power banks to Australia now. :(

  • I had this idea for Powercase Mod.
You put your SLim & Light Xiaomi Powerbank (10,000 m,ah ) in the back of your phone.
I hope there is a special case that have the 2nd slot at the back of the phone, this is where you put the powercase.
If you run out of battery just slide the powercase into this 2nd slot and plug in your Powerbank Micro USB to the Phone charge port

I knew that the new un-removable battery gimmick sounds allrighty for most normal daily-use user as it's more than enough for them, but for some time you need the flexbility of removable battery especially when you're travelling and need to take photo, use GPS,etc or playing Pokemon GO. Some people buy 3 spare batteries and charge it up in the dock overnight. Then when the battery is empty swap it with the fully charged one. No need to carry that Heavy Powerbank in your Hand. It's very inconvenient

    • So essentially something like the LG G5 where it has a hot swappable battery?

      • +1

I will try to avoid LG because of their BootLoop Issue.
LG G5 build quality isnt as Durable & Solid as V10 and G4 and there is also a chance for bootloop even though its aint as major as G4.

I dont get why Samsung and Nexus tried to be like a fancy iPhone, removing the most important feature like Battery and SD card (also their high resolution that is more than 1080p) and start to rely on their cloud. I don't have that much big Monthy Network Data available, I want to be able to store and access my stuff quickly offline.

When will they learn that this features is still mostly wanted? They start to alienating us android user who some us order android at the first place because we hate iPhone restricted Unflexibility feature that limited user freedom just because they want slim design, save a few dollar for MicroSD card slot & 4k screen to watch great movie in a SMALL SCREEN because our eyes arent satisfied enough with 1080p (where there are lods of 4k video source & it take a really small storage for the 4k Video & Pics Resolution) *strong sarcasm . Extremely Smart of them!

        • +1

Very true, Samsung burned me 2 too many times to ever go back to them again. Now $300 phones are better value and have had their 4GB CPU, 64GB HDD specs outcompeting Samsung and any other brand for over two years

    • +1

Not a bad idea, you sound like the kinda person I would startup an innovation company with.

What you do for these larger power banks is use molle cases and strap to your belt or rucksack

      • Kickstarter Crap?

  • Just got a order has been shipped notification

    • Now the long voyage begins

    • Lu Lida and Yao (the seller) are liars, I wondered if they really did ship your power bank? If you ask them for a screenshot of the logistics, do you think they will provide? I bet you they will give you excuse after excuse

  • For those that have got there's, I've just tried charging the battery using both micro USB and lightning simultaneously and it charges faster.
Went from around 22 hours on the single lightning cable to 12-14 hours on the dual cable setup
Kind've defeats the purpose of using 2 cables but I haven't got a QC3.0 wall charger yet

  • Just a bit of FYI - I ordered 2 x AUKEY powerbanks, each through a different new account, both on the 11th August.

The initial tracking numbers on both were incorrect and later on, the "remarks" section of the AliExpress page mentioned a new PostNL tracking #.

Turns out both of them have the same status - "The item is ready for shipment" - since 25th Aug.

Prob. won't see these until end of September or maybe even early October =S But will see how it goes…

    • Turns out the first tracking number (not the one in the remarks) can be tracked in Auspost.

  • I found Quickcharge very slow.

Seriously. It's even slower than normal charge. Much slower.

I wonder if the unit is fake?

    • Must be fake, otherwise it shouldn't be that slow. This is always the worry when you buy it from that far away :)

      • The seller is "Aukey store". You'd think they were official.

  • Order arrived 9 Sep at my workplace

  • Still waiting for mine - im in Sydney city

  • has everyone else received the powerbank? Seems longer than the expected long wait for me

  • Still waiting.,,,,,
