    $41.74 after c/b ;)

EC - Seller offers US$2 discount if spending over US$35.

So add the AUKEY cable and it comes to US$34.84 delivered after the discount (~AU$45.44)

    • +5

      Sigh you're welcome…

      • +2

        thank you thank you 1000x

      • Cheers SB, found a cheaper item to add

        • +2

But my option gives you something, yours just throws away US$0.95…!

And your maths are wrong btw, can't add a 95c option and still get it $2 cheaper:

          @Spackbace:

          Say what now

          Proof it works

        • +2

          @easternculture:

That comes out to US$33.10 (AU$43.20) compared to AU$44.58 for the power bank alone

It's not a direct US$2 saving like you claim

          So 3 options:
          Power Bank alone - US$34.15 (AU$44.58)
          With $0.95 blank listing - US$33.10 (AU$43.20)
          With 2m AUKEY Micro USB Cable - US$34.84 (AU$45.44)

        • -3

          @Spackbace:

I never mentioned anything about a $2 saving.

I said : Add this $0.95 Product to Get $2 USD off on orders over $35 making this $43 Delivered .. its around 2 AUD savings BTW

        • +1

          @easternculture:

          $43 Delivered

And title says $45 delivered - therefore $2 saving.

          Refer above (properly converted):

          So 3 options:
          Power Bank alone - US$34.15 (AU$44.58)
          With $0.95 blank listing - US$33.10 (AU$43.20)
          With 2m AUKEY Micro USB Cable - US$34.84 (AU$45.44)

          @Spackbace:

EC probably should've put a ~ in front of the $45 as it's rounded up to account for conversion differences/fees and what not. I don't believe he's trying to mislead anyone with the amount of "savings". To be frank you're being a bit anal SB. Not that there's anything wrong with that since this is OzBargain and all where every cent counts :)

        • @easternculture: Can I purchase through Aliexpress app and get cashrewards too?

        • @lovepeoplenotmoney: mobile site can't see anything through cash rewards, anyone know what's going on?

        • @easternculture: Come on guys, is it worth arguing over? People can decide for themselves whether the cable is worth the extra $2 or so to them.

    • +1

      thanks OP and you :)
i've been looking for a reasonably priced 12v output powerbank to power my spanky new blackvue dashcam while parked so i don't have to use the car's battery

  • +3

If I hadn't just bought a power bank on Monday I'd probably buy this…who am I kidding, I'll probably buy this anyway, or maybe the 10k one

  • This is confusing, whats the point of Output 2 if Output 1 seems to be able to do everything including USB C, 5v at 3A?

I'm thinking its only 5v/3A if its QC 3.0….

    • +2

If you want to charge 2 device at any one time

      • +2

I guess I'll have to wait for a USB C 5v/3A charger with quick charge as well as it seems this won't do it.

    • So you can charge two devices at once.
Whoops, left the screen idle for a few mins and missed the earlier replies.

  • "Lightning port" if i will never ever own an iphone again, this will be one useless input port for me is that correct?

    • -2

You can always buy a Lightning cable from ebay and don't have to be an apple fan boy

      • +2

I bought one just because of this cause its actually the best feature. For someone who only owns Apple products it is so much easier to travel around, previously I used the official Apple Lightning to Micro USB just so I could use one cable to charge my iPhone/iPad and the power bank itself.

  • Damn… i just bought the QC2.0 16000mAH version off ebay during the special for $37…

  • hmmm is this the ultimate power bank i will ever use?
now owning 6000 romoss, charging the unit itself is slow.

    • -1

Probably the best you will get at this price

    • +1

now owning 6000 romoss, charging the unit itself is slow.

How many thousand phones do you have??

  • +1

Very doubted this is 30000mAh, it means it can recharge my LG G3 10 times.

    Anyone could review?

    • +4

Yes, buy me one and I'll write you a review ;)

    • -3
      • One person had theirs explode -
        https://www.amazon.co.uk/review/R1HRW994LIM2PC/ref=cm_cr_dp_…

Bit of a worry. I mean, some explodes is always going to happen with batteries but it's hard to know if it's an issue with so few reviews out there.

        • You'll find exploding batteries with a lot of big brand power banks (e.g. Xiaomi). As the 30Ah is newer they've likely improved upon the fault.

Aukey are good brand and from what I've seen their factory was good too.

        • @Clear: I'm just wondering, is this some rip off AUKEY product? I can't seem to find any information about this power bank on their official page

        • +1

@coco1458: I checked their official Chinese stores and the 30Ah is a new release so they haven't got round to adding it to their site and Amazon.

The dimensions of the 20Ah and 30Ah are different anyway.

        • @Clear: Ahh okay thanks a heap!

        • As long as the exterior cover seems tough enough you should be safe from most explosions whilst charging.

      • +3

I wish people would stop saying it's good because of a lot of Amazon reviews.

        The system is gamed.

Real reviewers are usually technically clueless and do not measure anything.

But that's not the main reason, the main reason is the system is gamed.

      • I messaged Aukey on Facebook to ask something and they said the Amazon store is their official store and the aliexpress one is not.
They also said they don't know about a 30000mAh powerbank?

        • -2

Maybe message the Amazon Aukey store and ask them

I own a few Aukey products and packaging / design checks out for the power bank .

Even if the store was not official , with so much feedback (over 25k sales) and 99.1% score, I'd still give them a go .

    • It's most likely 30000mah at 3.7v if it's using samsung/LG 18650s. At 5v it'll be less and at 9v even less. It wont do 10 recharges but they're not exaggerating anything

Aukey, oricon or xiaomi I'd actually trust those

      • +1

You're exactly right. You can trust them because they're made with Samsung/LG/Panasonic 18650 batteries. Those are the big names in the battery industry that you can actually count on to hold close to capacity advertised.

Buying this charger and ripping out all the 18650 batteries would be cheaper for me than buying the batteries individually.

        • Yeah, it seems to be the best way to get quality 18650 cells cheaply

        • @futaris: this apparently uses Flat Li-Po cells rather than 18650 Li-Ion

    • +3

For decent quality power banks, multiply the actual capacity by 0.7 to get an approximation of the actual capacity conversion from power bank mAh to phone battery mAh after all losses (3.7->5, + efficiency of phone and charger).

  • +1

Can any body recommend a bulk pack of micro USB cables from ali? Needs to support QC.

    • The 3-5-pack Tronsmart cables that pop up here are good.
      e.g.
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/256550
      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/248729

      • Wouldn't recommend them even if Clear has been told they are "better".

      • +5

They arent very good. All mine have come loose after a few weeks of normal use.

        • +1

Mine haven't, unless the plug has been pulled sideways when plugged in to a device.

        • As have all of mine after a few insertions. For comparison, the Sony one that came with my old Z (3 years old) still holds firmly with no movement after daily use.

  • Anything smaller sized?

  • How is shipping usually with this site?

  • Does Apple have a competing technology to QC3.0?

My 2.1 Amp charger on my Ipad Air 2 is still pretty slow. Hoping the next IPAD I get has a faster charging solution.

    • Only the iPad Pro 12.1 will charge quickly from an Apple 29W charger using the lightning to usb-c cable.

  • +2

Hmmm, still not big enough to play Pokemon Go =).

        • Price:US $40.66 / шт.

" Unfortunately, this product is now available! "

      • Is that from April Fools or something?

  • Note this cannot charge other devices while it is charging.

Any ideas how long this would take to charge fully?

    • +3

Hmm. Depends on the charger. 3.7V*30Ah = ~111Wh.

      2.5W 5V 500mA usb port = about 2 days
      10W 5V 2.0A charger = about 11 hours
      12W 5V 2.4A charger = about 9 hours
      18W 9V 2A QC2.0 or QC3.0 charger = about 6.5 hours.

      • Cheers, so given this has inputs maxed at 5V 2.4A, the quickest charge time would be 9hours

        • Yup, this doesn't support QC2.0 or QC3.0 input, which is unfortunate.

I'll be all over this, if they do support faster charging input…

    • That's a deal breaker, was about to get one…
Can you link where it says that?

      • It's in the item description if you click the link for this deal, under the 'Notes' section:

"This power bank is unable to charge devices when it is being charged."

  • +2

Note that you can only carry two of these on most airlines, e.g. Virgin Australia

    • Virgin Australia provides USB power on the flight.

  • It's a shame this isn't type c fast charging as well

    • 12W versus 15W isn't that big of a deal. It's only 25% faster.

  • CATCH ALL THE POKEMONS!!!

  • 9 18650 cells inside?

    • +1

They use Li-Po flat battery cell and not 18650 cell, according to the image render on the listing (image where they describe their circuit design feature).

      • Thats a shame . I'd rather 18650 as they are a standard size and fairly easy to replace . I've bought a couple of power banks and the batteries die in them when left unused for more than a few months . They were for emergencies and left in the glove box .

        • +2

Maybe they're actually dying from heat?

        • @koganei: Heat can be a killer. I keep a spare 2-way radio in my car boot. To help preserve the battery, I keep the whole thing in a small thermos.

        • @koganei:
Possibly . I use quite a few for my electronic cigarettes and they seem to last quite a while used under heavy loads for short periods . I always assumed they just used crap batteries .

  • The model number of this is the PB-T11

  • I find it weird that only the 20000mAh model is on the Aukey website not the 30000

  • Any one got any ideas if this is allowed on planes? When do they draw the line on on the size of lithium batteries? I'm a bit late to the party on these bigger power banks, is this one of the better ones around for this price?

    • -3

From recent experience, they don't like any size battery of any kind if they find it in your hand luggage, simply because it can power up 'anything' according to them.

      • +3

No idea what you're talking about.

Brought literally an entire bag of power banks (3 x 5000 Xiaomi, 2 x 10400 Xiaomi, 2 x 10000 Xiaomi, 3 x 16000 Xiaomi and one random Aukey 10000 as well as enough cables to create a bomb), and they didn't bat an eye. I was literally carrying every single battery pack of a group of 12 through security in my handheld and no one cared. This was from Aus -> Malaysia -> Singapore -> Korea and all the way back.

        • No need to neg me for that. That is my experience, not yours - different airports, different places. Yes maybe I should of been more specific as to where my experience happen but still.

    • I travel twice annually, typically on air Asia or Jetstar and I've never had a problem taking power banks anywhere.

      • Last month Thai airline took away my 50,800 mah power bank from Bangkok to Melboure :(

    • I think you actually have to have them in carry-on luggage, not checked in. Signs at airports stating this.

  • Anyone have experience with the USB chargers that they sell? The 5 port 10A one comes in at just over $20 in our money

    http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Aukey-50W-10A-5-Port…

    • bought 2 that have quick charge as well, works great

  • fark just bought one yesterday :/

  • Will this fast charge my Samsung s6 edge? Very uneducated about the whole quick charge /fast charge technology.

    • Edit: Found it.

      • I have tried to find it this will charge my nexus 5x. Still cant find anything…any help lol?
