    We use anything from the E5600 Series for these particular servers. We do have Premium Plus Dedicated Servers with E3 processors.

    Anything with L series processors sounds like they're DELL 1950 or 2950 servers where as we're using R-Series servers for our dedicated server range.

      Thanks for clarification. Good idea to have the exact processor spelled out on the product page as dedicated server customers don't just look at the number of gigahertz…

    Each of the CPU's only comes with 4 cores… so with 2 CPU's, you will get 8 cores.

    Plus this is a physical dedicated server and is not a virtual server. All of the hardware resources is there for the customer to use since it is only the customer who accesses and uses the physical server.

      Why not include the CPU model numbers instead then? Usually "2x 2.66Ghz processors" means your virtual server has access to 2 of the 4 2.66Ghz cores.

        We do not list any CPU's with virtual servers because we have different speeds across our virtual host machines.

        As mentioned above though, we use the E5600 CPU series.

        Looks like it might be E5640, which has PassMark of 5446 with single thread rating 1157. Slow comparing to today's E3/E5, but likely still faster than your average $150/month VPS in Australia.

    The first 3 months will be approximately $97.47 and then after the 3 months, it will go back to our normal pricing of approximately $129.95/per month.

    Sure is and you can do this through the order process to upgrade the servers resources.

    You can certainly run VM's on it and we can install XEN, VMWare ESXi, etc on it for you as well during provisioning.

    If you find another provider here in Australia with an identical service to ours, we'll happily match or beat the price.

    The providers business and infrastructure will need to be here in Australia and using the same platforms (cPanel hosting, XEN servers, etc) that we offer.

  May I please know what's the connectivity speed? 5TB is great but if the up/downstream is limited u will never get there
