Apple MacBook 12 Inch Retina 2016 $1623.60 @ Kogan eBay

110
CTENOFF

The Apple MacBook 12 Inch retina is normally $1999 on Apples website and on the Kogan eBay store it's listed at $1803.99 combining that with the CTENOFF eBay discount, you can have it as cheap as $1623.50 delivered, last I checked they had all colours in stock of the 256GB.

The 512GB MacBook which I think is around $2499 on Apples website, is listed at $2164 for the Rose Gold colour and that combined with the CTENOFF discount gets you to $1947.60. They have all colours last I checked in stock, although the prices vary a little with each, but not by much.

Just FYI, the 1.2GHz/512GB SSD version is a little bit more and probably worth it. $1699 from OfficeWorks.

That's also the 2015 model, not the 2016 one listed here.

      • Ah, well spotted. They look pretty much identical so I didn't notice the title on the other. :)

Does this comes with Apple warranty ?
I know kogan does not gives manufacturer warranty, but Apple gives warranty even if bought overseas.
Just asking if I'll get apple warranty with this.

Apple always gives warranty, no matter where you bought it.

If you're going to spend this much.. buy the 2016 model.

    • I believe this is the 2016 model.

  • So how do items over $1,000 from Kogan work? I'm guessing the price includes GST? I see the item location is Melbourne rather than Asia as is usually the case with Kogan, which would indicate it does include GST.

  • I seem to remember writing off buying from Kogan items over a grand when someone suggested they were an overseas purchase attracting gst and duty etc., unlike buying locally.
I read this in one of the iPhone threads when eBay was having 20% off specials

    • I usually would avoiding buying aswell, but I am pretty sure Kogan usually puts a message saying this is imported stock on products that are and I don't recall seeing that anywhere on the page for the MacBook :)

      • Check the Kogan website first. The MacBook pros are overseas models.

  • can you claim GST back at airport?
