    Not really.
    These lights have about 9k lumens - would be expensive in LED.
    But they are normally only on for short periods.

      I've got a 500w halogen at the front of my house, does the whole front area very nicely. And yes being on sensor it comes on only when someone arrives.

    It can be replaced with LED; they make LED replacement bulbs in this form factor and you can get them off eBay. But as tanksinatra says they are not going to be anywhere near as bright.
