MLB.TV, the streaming video service of Major League Baseball, is offering their yearly premium subscription for $17.99 USD (~$24 AUD). This will give you access to the remainder of the 2016 regular season (until Oct 3) + Postseason (Until end of Oct, World Series starts Oct 25).
- You don't need a VPN or DNS blocker (Blackout restrictions apply if you're within a region of a team's home game. e.g. US).
- There is an MLB app which you can cast to your Chromecast.
- They have condensed games, watch multiple games at once, watch games with home, away, or radio commentary.
- You have access to all games including playoffs and The World Series.
1.5 months ago, this was $49.99 so there is a good possibility of this dropping again at the end of this month to I'd guess around $10. The subscription runs until March 1 but there isn't much on after October. This is a limited time deal to coincide with trade deadlines (see MLB.com).
OK, to get the deal even cheaper you can buy through my MLB group. Closed. Create your own.
If 1 person buys, it's $16.19 (~$21 AUD) each, 10% off
if 2 people buy, it's $14.39 (~$19 AUD) each, 20% off
if 3 or more people buy, it's $12.59 (~$16.50) each, 30% off
I receive no benefit other than getting the same discounted price as the others who use the link. Basically, you have 48 hours from this post to use the link and then it closes.

A great app to use with this is "MLB.com At Bat". Pro version comes free with mlb.com subscription (unlocked within the app via mlb login). App supports chromecasting. I use that feature every day :)
