I was kicking myself last week for not picking up MLB.TV for $35. They are now offering the remainder of the season (Nov 4 at latest) for $9.99 USD (~$14 AUD). That's $21 cheaper than the previous deal 12 days ago.
Normal price is about $25 USD per month or $129.99 USD per year. So you are getting just over 2 months for $5 USD per month.
- You don't need a VPN or DNS blocker (Blackout restrictions apply if you're within a region of a team's home game. e.g. US).
- There is an MLB app which you can cast to your Chromecast.
- Works fine in HD for me however YMMV.
- I'm a Mets fan and the team generally falls apart after the all-star break (July) if not before. However we are now in 1st with David Wright back from injury.
- They have condensed games, watch multiple games at once, watch games with home, away, or radio commentary.
- You have access to all games including playoffs and The World Series.
Also, if you find yourself in the US, you can claim a free Dominos pizza if there is a no hitter.
Via Reddit Baseball which is a fantastic and well run community for not only discussing baseball but great videos
I think you can actually share these accounts so if you have any interested friends.. yeah you get the picture.
