Unblock USA Netflix - 3 Months of Uflix for $8 (Normally $13.50)

keeponkeepingon

Okay guys. We had to jack up our prices due to some new unblocking methods we have implemented. However, we are going to run another deal for OzBargain users which will give you 3 months of uFlix for $8 (normally $13.50).

This is a non-recurring deal (it is a once-off purchase) and is not stackable if you are an existing uFlix customer.

Here is some extra information that you guys may want to know -

  • This is not guaranteed to work for ALL users and devices (due to a multitude of variables to do with Netflix). We allow a 3 day free trial for you to test the service. Please note, if your device is having difficulties getting through to USA Netflix, please read https://uflix.com.au/netflix-update/ before submitting a support ticket.

  • We can not provide support on OzBargain or through PM. Please submit a support ticket at http://uflix.com.au in order to get support.

  • At the time of this post we support USA Netflix alone. We have however implemented a new workaround so we are testing to see if we can also get it to work well for other regions - no promises though. We can not go into detail about this new method for obvious reasons.

  • You do not need a uRouter in most cases. DNS alone should work for 90% of you. The uRouter is for VPN's and should be a last resort if DNS alone fails. Please test our service and ask questions before purchasing a router.

  • We will always try our best to unblock USA Netflix. We can not guarantee that there will be zero downtime. We can only do our best, and so far we are still ahead.

This special will end on 03/08/2016 @ 12:00am

As usual I will be here to answer any questions you guys may have.

Thanks.

  • So USA is back up an running? It's been down for the last few days according to your status page (and my inability to access it). It's disappointing that during this time there were no updates on twitter or your blog.

    • Hi,

We have not been down at all. Have you made sure your IP is up to date and submitted a support ticket?

We are no longer updating twitter/facebook. All new statuses are displayed in the notice on our site once you login.

      Thanks.

      • My USA Netflix has not been working via my uRouter. My IP is up to date and DNS is listed as fine when I log in. I have not submitted tickets or done much troubleshooting because your status page has said USA Netflix was not available. In fact, it still says so: https://uflix.com.au/status/

        • Hi,

That page is not working and has now been removed. Please submit a support ticket as it should be working.

          Thanks.

        • @uFlix: I'll try troubleshooting when I get home. Thanks!

        • @puffinfresh:

No problem. But please do contact us via a support ticket asap as the service has been and is running fine.

          Thanks.

        • @uFlix: It's working!
Quick question though, does adding static routes make a difference on a uRouter, or is that already built in?

        • @puffinfresh: It makes a difference.

          Thanks.

  • To my knowledge currently no smart-dns service can handle Netflix US due to new method employed.

    • Hi,

We have a free 3 day trial. Give it a shot, it will cost you nothing.

      Thanks.

    • Getflix works fine for me… and has been even since Netflix really clamped down on things in the last couple of months.

      • +1

Getflix has been constantly up and down for me, and their facebook status updates have noted multiple downtime periods. Maybe you've lucked out with when you've tried to use it. Might have improved more recently…for the time being we've just stuck to Netflix AU given US was so unreliable.

        • There do appear to be a number of variables that impact on whether you get detected or not (as per the original post here). I have a router running Gargoyle firmware and set up all the static routes etc as per the Getflix website (and also described on the uFlix website). I am using Netflix via Chrome on a HTPC connected to my TV via HDMI. No problems, other than having to change the region to US West a couple of months ago.

    • I know a number of services now switched over to using the reverse proxy networks with 100,000+ outbound residential IPs. It will be interesting to see if Netflix decide to block those as well. Only issue that way at the moment is bandwidth constraints. So there are quite a few that work with Netflix USA, less that work with Netflix UK but the same method works, just harder to source the IPs…

      • I think that's what the likes of Borderless Internet are attempting to do - paint Netflix into a corner by leaving them with the the choice of banning consumer ISP ranges & indiscriminately blocking customers from using the service (imagine the press from that), or surrendering and letting the rest of us have at their content library. I suppose from a legal point of view they need to at least make an attempt to stop access from users in regions where the content is exclusive to other providers - e.g. Australia.

    +1 for your honesty

    Works a charm!!!
I manually added their DNS to my router and it is running fine on my SmartTV, Ipad, Iphone and WDTV LIve with the exception of chromecast. Highly recommened!!

    • Hi,

To get Chromecast working you will need to put a workaround in place, but please note, it may cause other devices to stop working. You can read about it at https://uflix.com.au/netflix-update/

      Thanks.

  • I haven't had a problem with uFlix since I signed up for the last deal. There may be times when it reverts back to the AU Netflix but it can be fixed by logging into the uflix site and just click "Apply Region" again and it works.

In addition, uflix, can you please add a "logout" button of some sort, because I have a few accounts with you guys and I can't actually pay for the other accounts cos I can't actually log out of my primary one!

    • Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. The logout button is in the sidebar on the left. You will only see it when you are logged in.

      Thanks.

      • I'm using a Telstra cable modem … how easy is it to get Netflix US with uflix .. do I have to get a router in-between the moden and my Apple TV gen 3??

        • Store Rep .. I'm using a Telstra cable modem … how easy is it to get Netflix US with uflix .. do I have to get a router in-between the moden and my Apple TV gen 3??

        • @Look43Bs:

          Hi,

You may need to add static routes to your router for it to work. If your router allows for it, then it should work.

          Thanks.

  • Hi, My IP constantly changes, If i dont make the change at a router level does your service work like getflix where i need to log in, or call a URL with GUID to update my IP address all the time?

    • Hi,

You will need to log into our site for it to be updated.

      Thanks.

    • If your router supports dynamic DNS, you can set up Getflix to update your IP without any manual intervention.

  • Any work around for XB1 yet?

    • Hi,

XBox One is a hit/miss device. You can try following the instructions at https://uflix.com.au/netflix-update/ to see if it helps.

      Thanks.

  • Yeah Getflix no longer works for me with Netflix USA on ATV4. Can op confirm there service will work?…ready to change

    • Hi,

Give it a try. The trial is for 3 days and it is free. It should work for you.

      Thanks.

  • Looking forward to the return of Canada, Germany and UK coming back as part of the uFlix service.

  • silly question, but how do i know i have the US netflix site. I have enabled uFlix, updated my DNS settings in my router. The uFlix webpage says ip updated and DNS configured correctly. I am running Netflix through my Sony TV (Android TV). Any help would be appreciated.

    • OK would like to update this. Applied the update from here https://uflix.com.au/netflix-update/ and the whole TV thinks its in the US :-) I don't even get iView or SBSOn Demand on the home page.

To test Netflix just search for "breaking bad". Aussie site doesn't have this and the US site does.

Would be great if there was an easy way to click in and out of the DNS without having to boot my router and disable all the static routes.

      • Hi,

In your profile settings on the uFlix website (you will see them when you login) you will see "Netflix Region". Select "Turn Off" and it will disable USA Netflix and switch back to the Australian version for you. No need to remove static routes (ever) or DNS.

        Thanks.

  • Hey this actually works on my Nexus Player! (kinda mangled the static routes from dns4me and uFlix together, because lazy).

Will test it on my FireTV in the lounge when it's not in use.

I'd love to switch to uFlix, but I really need Amazon Prime Instant Video support! Is this coming soon?

    • Hi,

We may be adding it soon. We are taking a look at it now and seeing if we are going to do it. No promises, but it looks like we may go ahead with it.

      Thanks.

    • Hmm looks like GetFlix still works too, at 12m legacy pricing it's $6.05/3m (or $9.58 for just 3m).

uFlix's deal here is still slightly cheaper if you're only looking for 3 months and only USA.

    • Does Netflix work on your FireTV with the uFlix DNS?

      • No. Just the Nexus Player.. how bizarre.

  • i already have ur service. im looking for vpn now. do i still need one of those tplink routers to use vpn?

  • +1

Great pay for 12 months in advance for netflix unblocking follow all your sh!t buy a tplink U router and you shut up shop and I do my money.Looking at doing a charge back on my credit card.

Also noticed I can't find you on Facebook did you close that off also?

    • +1

But wait, you get Amazon Instant Video (Prime) as an unblocked channel…. /s

I was so close to wasting more money on the router, thankfully I procrastinated long enough.
