  • This is not always work.
I got 2 calls last year and paid by credit card, however, I am living in a townhouse, the newsagent did not bother to deliver the newspaper at my doorstep because they did not want to drive their car into our site, my house is NOT on the road side.

    • Yes i concur. some newsagents are very unreasonable!

    • Agreed - or the ones who delivered the wrong paper each week and would tell me to bring in back and they would exchange it, as it was too much trouble for them to deliver the right one. AND when I complained to the newspaper, they said there was nothing they would or could do, except refund me the subscription.

Guess which one I took…. and I have never set foot inside a newsagency since. You can even buy Lotto on the internet.

The best things that ever happened to Newsagents has been the Internet

    "…most respected journalists…"? Gawd! What's the benchmark?

  • What no negatives - New subscribers only? what about loyalty to old subscribers? Where are our serial negative posters the ones who hammer the banks for the same policy?? LOL

BTW “…most respected journalists…”? Gawd! What’s the benchmark? - Yesterdays paper.
