Is there a big difference between the OP's USB and this one? Faster transfer speeds? (even though they are both USB 3.0)

Unsure of exact speed, Cruze I felt were faster as well as Cruze are generally more expensive so maybe they are but In terms of shape Cruze are awkward to put in USB ports built in keyboard just as apple keyboards and other similar styles. That's my personal experience.
That's incorrect. The Extreme is on a totally different level because of its transfer speeds. Theoretically the Extreme can achieve Up to 245MB/s read speed and up to 190MB/s write speed, whereas the Cruze is rated at 100 MB/s read (with no mention of theoretical write speed, apparently only ~10MB/s). I can vouch for the speed of the Extreme as i have one and i am constantly amazed at the speeds it achieves. I hardly ever get write speeds (which for me is most important for my use) lower than 150 MB/s.
I do apologize I got my names of usbs mixed up but my experience of their shapes still stand, names just swapped over.
