  • This will need a different cable, but thankfully it's just a figure 8 power cable.

  • yeah, cables are $5 at jaycar, but at least just a cable and not bend US pins so it fits on the wall. Do tronsmart do a QC 3 or are theirs QC2 because the ones on banggood and gearbuyt now have AU plus as an option.

they still only seem to do these with 1 QC 3.0 port and other are just smart charge ……. is it chip prices or licensing for QC ?

    • They have QC3 but no AU cables with them yet.

    • +1

Only the Tronsmart Titan has 5 x QC2.0 ports.

Each port needs 18W, so it means a larger adapter.

This charger only has 36W to share amongst the 4 non QC3.0 ports.

Most others (without QC) will share 60W amongst 5 ports.

  • +2

Only 1 port is QC port, and it's type C.

  • Could this be good to get it permanent fit in the wall to charge up?

    • -2

Could this be good to get it permanent fit in the wall to charge up?

Could you write in normal English so that we can understand you?

    • permanent fit in the wall to charge up

why do you want to charge up the wall

    • Don't install this in the wall, bad idea. You can buy ready made powerpoints with USB chargers built in, .maybe look for one of them. Remember to get a licensed electrician for installation.

      • You knew exactly what I meant, great work thanks

  • +4

The Type C port is QC3.0 only. Not USB PD.

USB PD just became an IEC standard:
    http://www.iec.ch/newslog/2016/nr1616.htm

    • Type C port is QC3.0 only.

What is the point of that?

      Would not touch this thing.

  • how to get the $2 coupon? thks

    • same here, dont see the $2 coupon

  • Is there one with a Type-A QC 3.0 port?

  • US plug, not AU plug

    • Uses a common cable you likely have plenty of around the house.

If you have a PS1, PS2 (fat), or PS4, you already have this cable. The PSP also used this cable for its power brick. PS3 fat uses a kettle plug, but I'm not sure about the two slimmer models. They might use this cable too, but don't quote me on that. My external optical drive enclosure uses it also.

Many other electrical appliances use it too.

      • Worst case, by one from AliExpress as you checkout…

  • First time tried ordering from aliexpress, order got cancelled for security reasons. Option to appeal and submit identification. Anyone else experience this? How did you guys pay?
