  • I went last time , was excellent i would rate them 9/10 overall. I'm too poor to be a regular though :)

They were very flexible for appointment times even though free

    • Will you try & get another free one? I'd be interested to know if they'd honour it, the site does say 'members first visit free', but technically you might not be a 'member' depending on what they mean. There's no T&C's on the site which is a bit poor.

      • Thinking about it, went with the wife last time before a wedding and she loved it.

Guess i am not a member as you say :) could be worth trying again thanks.

    • Yeh I went last time. Excellent haircut and they don't put the hard sell on you. Unfortunately I live too far away from them to be a regular

    wow!

If i was a regular i'd be spending like $1500 a yr on haircuts hahahahaha!

My hair grows sooo bloody fast lol!

    • hear hear

  • I wish instead of free, they just did a $25 offer or something. You would feel so much less obligated to come back for a full price hair cut or buy a $90 million dollar hair product.

This is way too cheap - I won't get into a shop unless it is $500 - of course it has to be a free coupon :)

    • lol, are you the new "Mr Tightarse" ?
I think he/she/it got banned from here

  • Went there last time and got my free haircut, quite nice service. But as a full time student, I could only support them here online and maybe will go back a few years later ^_^.

  • dman801, you hit the nail on the head. I'd feel so cheap getting my free haircut and then running away. But I do need a haircut…..

  • $95 haircut O_O so expensive

  • is it only for man? or for both sexes?

    • Yeah for men & women , as per my comment above

    LOL whats with the neg?

  • I went last time too even though i live in Melbourne :P the whole thing was pretty good, and it kinda looked like all the girls there were models not hair dressers. When the cut was done i went to the cashier who checked my appointment, said thats complimentary, see you later :)

" it kinda looked like all the girls there were models not hair dressers."

      that's it, i'm going LOL!

    • O rly! I must go now

  • +2

tempted, but what do they mean by member? there's no Terms&Conditions on the site.

    • Yes, how does one become a member, any cost involved?

  • I went there last time and thought it was one of the best haircut service I've ever had.
    Too pricey though.

  • to be honest
it wasnt that great to be 3 times the price of my hair cut
plus i felt uncomfortable and treated like a cheapo and they tried to sell me 30 dollar hair gel after wards
i prefer to stick to my 25 dollar one thanks!

    • Haha I went in to get my hair cut when it was really long, I told them I really only cut it a few times a year and usually do it myself. If it bothered them they hid it well!

Awesome service though, comment above about the girls being cute is true. And they spend ages massaging your head :)

  • Ah, now I know why it costed $95!
BTW you dont get haircut from the $95 dude, the chicks does it and really costs $60 or $70.

Went last time but felt so uncomfortable so bought something I didn't need for more than the price of a very good haircut elsewhere. Felt pressured to rebook for a follow up in a month's time.

I didn't like the overall experience and my hair didn't even look that great. It had a bad style, like it came from a student not a pro. The website made it sound like some cool place but I was disappointed that it was just like your average hair salon.

Definitely won't go back because the $95 haircut doesn't even compare to my normal $20 haircut. Go if you want a free haircut but don't expect too much and be warned it could cost you more if you don't have thick skin to reject them when they are suggestive selling.

      i felt the same way
they were suppose to offer a drink or something
me and my friend never got such an offer
also the massage was about 1 minute?

And it did feel uncomfortable the whole way.

      • There was a massage?

        • head massage

  • The hair cut was average, but the eye candy was excellent. Seldom when you get a deal to have pretty ladies talking to you while you have a beer, and for FREE. Excellent for anyone who has never been there before.

  • Simply, you get offered a drink (Beck's beer)
    average haircut
nice short massage and hot towel
then they make you buy a product.
ended up forking $33.50 for Redkin wax.

I usually cut my hair for $10 underneeth Central Station (George Street)

    • +2

can't you just say no, your not interested? lol

  • Do they have a liquor licence?

  • I didnt buy anything.
    They didn't try either.
Maybe because I look like a cheap tightass cheapskate douche.

  • Don't go…you need really thick skin to get outta there. Husband and colleagues went a while back. They all walked out with a stack of products they bought (at high high prices) and further appointments (cos it takes 3 appointments to mature the haircut or some rubbish like that). So you'll pay for this haircut in other ways…they have pretty females who convince you to add on plenty of other bits. Its upselling galore.
