Cashrewards does not give guarantee that tracking will work 100% in all cases.

If you are not lucky then probably you are spending 120 for no reason

Except that Woolworths will send you $120 of food which you can then eat.

      • Yeah it appears my Cashrewards tracking didnt work… I did everything right, and it worked for a purchase earlier in the day… havent had any confirmation from CR 12 hrs later.

  • are you sure gift card purchases count for the cashrewards?

    • I think they mean you buy the Woolworths gift card (which is 5% discounted via cashrewards) and then use that giftcard to purchase $120 worth of stuff from Woolworths Online to then get the cashback.

      • smart thinking.

        • As above :)

Also, updated post, just found the 5% off coupon would work for this as well!

I tried it the last time.. but Woolworths is so unpredictable with providing all the items in your order.. They may have some cancellations on delivery that will jeopardize the cashback.. Unless you are ordering way more than required (I think the required is $120) I would not recommend it.. great offer nevertheless..

edit: gift card is the way to go

    • lol If they can't deliver something that's their problem.

The final basket value after discounts needs to be $120 or more to be eligible for the Cashback rewards.

      • The point ram is making is that if they can't deliver it, they will refund that amount. If you spent right on $120 initially and have $5 refunded, then the resulting transaction amount of $115 means you no longer meet the spend criterion for cashback.

I have tested it multiple times. Unless Woolie cancel your whole order, you will get $20 or $30 months later if cashrewards tracked it and it shows as pending.

I bought $120 last time, got cashrewards tracked straight away, then on delivery day, Woolie can only delivery $10 worth of items, they refunded $110 as coupon credit, and I still got the $20 for (first time purchase min $120). No problem at all.

        • @coprocessor8087: Is the coupon for online only or is it a wish gift card?

If it's a coupon can you redeem it in part or only in one go?

        • @JIMB0: It is a coupon code you normally enter in the "promo code" field. It is not egift card with a pin, so unfortunately, you have to redeem in one go.

        • @coprocessor8087: Please share with us what you ordered for $110. This looks like a great way to make a profit.

        • -1

@endotherm: what about 12x nappy pant. They are on special last week and you can buy max 12 online.

        • @coprocessor8087: I was actually after something that they couldn't supply, resulting in a guaranteed $110 refund. This would result in ~$40 profit. :)

        • -1

@endotherm: These are actually what they cannot supply. Baby stuff are in high demand and if they are half price….. you have 100% success rate.

        • @coprocessor8087: OK thanks, I just read your "…you can buy…" and the fact they are listed on the website as meaning they are available to be supplied.

        • @endotherm: I was thinking the same. Would need to go to the store that picks the orders and have a look. Prehaps baby formula would be a safe bet. If by some miracle they happen to fill the order you wouldn't have much trouble off loading it.

        • @coprocessor8087: Thanks. Can it be used to pay for the next $30 cash back offer or does their system pick up on such shiftyness?

        • +1

@JIMB0: Exactly what i did. The coupon credit does NOT link to your original order account, so you can always use it on a newly created account to get another $20 or $30.

  • May i ask how many woolies accounts everyone has?

    • +5

unlimited (throw away email). Although I still haven't received the actual cashbacks (just sitting on my account atm) so who knows whether it'll come through. Free delivery is a bonus though (as a first time customer). The same guy delivers to my address everytime and tells me to 'enjoy' my first order and hope to see me back lol.

      • Doesn't he remember you?

        • I was being sarcastic. He does but he wouldn't give a toss :)

        • +1

@gimme: You are creating delivery works for them, so they can't be happier to see you doing this again and again, though he wouldn't give a kiss :)

        • @coprocessor8087:

Got refused the $20 cash back and then I complained and eventually as a 'act of goodwill' it was paid.

Have several accounts all used for free delivery but this was the first time I tried cash back $20 so beware.

        • @techboy:I always use different name when creating new woolie online account for the $20. This always works for delivery as they just need someone from the address to receive the delivery. Click and collect won't work as they check collector name on ID against the order, so wrong name cannot collect.

        • @coprocessor8087:
It was using one of my accounts with different name.
Like I said first time claiming $20 back from cash rewards.

  • Can the $30 cashback be claimed on the same Cashrewards account where previously Woolies $20 cashback has been claimed?

    • +1

Yes. 12 x cashbacks on the same PricePal account for me so far. Would assume the same for Cashrewards.

  • As long as you get your cashback you are good. I did this with Coles once, 3 months later no sorry we can't pay you Coles said no.

    • Got mine after 3½ months.
      Why wouldn't it work?

    • +1

Coles cancelled 2 orders in both cases I got the cashback.

  • How long does it usually take for them to deliver?

    • +5

Just enough time for your milk to go warm, your yoghurt to go runny and your meat to smell a bit.

      • same day?

  • So I'm guessing the "third party promotions" includes egift vouchers gotten from this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/252922?

  • Hi,

Thank you for this, still i didnt manage to understand how the $127 gift card price reduced to $114.62.
I was only able to get the first 5% discount from $127 to $120.65, can you please advise on this?
    Thanks!

    • Gift card reduces 5%, coupon reduces the order 5%, then $30 cashback

      • Thanks! will try!

  • Cashrewards coupon

Offer valid for orders delivered from 00:01 AEDT 29/06/2016 to 23:59 AEDT 26/07/2016

  • Will you still get the $30 cashback even though it says final basket must be >$120, if you're reducing it to $114?

    • Officially your cart will be $127, and the coupon brings that down to $120.65 :)
But meanwhile you paid $120.65 for your $127 Gift Card

      • But then you say to combine with the egift card to get another 5% off the cart, which makes it <$120.

        • You're reading it the wrong way round, I actually thought I just explained it as best I could

        • +1

@Spackbace: Oh, I'm a (profanity). Sorry, I understand it now.

  • I did this offer. No Cashrewards confirmation email received and its been 30 mins. I bought Virgin flights earlier today and got the confirmation email about 10 min later.

    • +1

      You should call the ACCCC

  • Why is today set as the expiry for this deal? Offers look to be available for longer than that.

  • 33.37% discount in the OP example, not bad
