    • Sorry, the code can't apply to this purchase. Check the code's rules.
tried for eBay and flashsale, NOT really site wide!

Interviewer : Oh…where did you go for your Aged Care Qualification?

    Interviewee : Groupon.

    Interviewer : GTFO.

    • I highly doubt that it only cost $100.
"Must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident, residing in NSW" Why?

    • I'm not going to make any claims about the Groupon EP, because I just don't know enough about their course to even comment on it in any meaningful way, however Aged Care Cert III TAFESA @ concession fees is around $1K AFAIK, as a comparison.

  • If I bought hoyts vouchers later tonight, would the voucher be available in time for next Monday? Optus charges now for recliner seats, our local only have these, so this this seems a great way to bypass that fee. Thanks

    • +1

I bought it last week and got the voucher straight away.

How much does Optus charge for the recliner? Are you sure it's not because of XS/3D?

      • They changed their system this week where you bought vouchers similar to this to booking directly through hoyts. An extra $3 per ticket for recliner seats, previously there was no surcharge for this :( This link should work/explain https://www.optusperks.com.au/supplierbuy

        • Yep I just felt the fury of the fees after being hit with the $3.00 seat fee and $3.00 XS fee, in the end it was $35 for two people! Fuming that I didn't see this groupon first haha

  • Thanks EC! I was able to combine it with their 48hr sale as the code worked before the 48hr sale expired at midnight.

12 month car service reliable? I heard some would treat you differently ( very bad) because you pay with discounted rate…

    • +2

Used it yesterday, not treated differently at all. Call out person used exact same service.

    • Did you mean the 12-month road assist or something else?

  • does anyone know whether the discount can be applied to goods? I tried to check out but the apply button (for the promo code) has been disabled and it can't be clicked on

    • the apply button (for the promo code) has been disabled and it can't be clicked on

I found that you need to either wait a minute, or just push 'Enter', and it will works.

      • Yes, indeed pressing Enter does help! Cheers

  • Hi, would this be stackable with the $10 discount for new account? i tried but was unable to combine… the $10 new account discount also requires a WELCOME10 code for it to work right?

    cheers.

    • +1

The $10 off for new account requires the code WELCOME, you can only enter one code so you won't be able to use both. Just pick whichever one gives the best discount.

  • On the HOYTS Movie Double Pass, Valid Mondays and Tuesdays deal it states:->

"Groupon promo codes are not eligible for use on this deal"

    Is this true?

If it is working,it is working, forget about the terms.

Yup, thanks. I bought the tickets voucher.

  • Apologies, I know this has been covered here before. If I pay with citibank credit card, will groupon apply a foreign transaction fee? Will this happen if I pay by paypal as well? Thanks. Context: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/140468 I think infidel wrote a great post outlining this, but I can't find it now.

      doesn't happen anymore.

      cheers

Thanks EC. Great post, just in time for school holidays and movies!

  • For the Finish® Quantum® Powerball, are these the ones where you can take them out of the bag and put them straight into the dishwasher?

Or is it the one where each tablet is individually wrapped, and you have to unwrap and put into dishwasher.

edit: nevermind, it says 'no need to unwrap' on the box…
