This popped up in a newsletter for me. There's a free outdoor cinema at the Rocks with a minimum of a $2 donation. They have the following movies on at 7pm - 9pm AEDT:

15 Jan - Hot Fuzz
22 Jan - Clueless
29 Jan - Casper
5 Feb - Amelie
12 Feb - Another Round
19 Feb - Mardi Gras Film Festival - Imagine Me & You

We're rolling out the red carpet for a dazzling four weeks of world movies and queer films! From heartwarming classics to thought-provoking dramas, there's plenty to delight film lovers of all stripes.

Tickets become available about a week earlier so check the website to see when tickets are open. The rest might be of interest to others wanting a cheap movie to watch or an opportunity to do something near the rocks. Booking is done via humanitix

    Freebie deal posts from charities targeted at specific groups where you receive a physical item in the mail are not permitted

    Looks like this deal would not be prohibited as it's neither targeted or a physical item to be mailed.

  Thats not how those words work. "free" doesnt have a minimum and "donations" are voluntary, not transactional.

  Im all for supporting charities that help mental health (personally, ReachOut) but… Its none of what they've called it.
