Oh … different trackpad and more memory and I would have nice portable machine …
Bought this recently for a spare travel device and for using in the lounge. Really nice and portable. Surprisingly good build quality for the price.
Trackpad is frustrating with the lack of multi-touch - this is permanent, no software fix available so don't hold your breath - however if you use Windows keyboard shortcuts you can learn to live without it.
Keyboard is surprisingly pleasant to type on. Battery goes for ages but I'm probably comparing to the wrong devices. I almost see this as a tablet replacement for people who don't like tablets. Good for video and some basic word processing on the go.
Definitely not perfect but nothing is, particularly in this price range.
Amazing machine. Mate and I both have one. Awesome keyboard to type on, powerful enough for hd YouTube videos. Have an i5 sp3 but this gets used more.
This is a nice, light, basic machine for the price. The non-upgradeable 2GB RAM is limiting, as is the 32GB of storage; though this can be augmented with a microSD card.
I like the matte display, and the inclusion of separate physical trackpad buttons.
There are a couple of issues with the trackpad, though. Firstly, it does NOT support multi-touch gestures (e.g. scrolling). Secondly, it is impossible to disable "tap-to-click", leading to accidental clicks while trying to move the pointer. I've had lengthy discussions with Lenovo support regarding these issues, but no solutions have been forthcoming.
Finally, the 5V 4A AC adaptor charges the device rather slowly, and replacement chargers are expensive and difficult to find.
