I've got the phone, replacing an S5 and I'm pretty damn happy with it…
I've recommended it to my brother, but if you can point out some of the reasons it's a rubbish phone I would appreciate it.
      Cheers

      • Moore22,

Good to hear that you are happy with the phone.
I heard that Xiaomi phones doesn't support band 28 on 4G.
How is your 4G experience so far?
Didn't you find any issues with 4G speeds?

        • Not supporting band 28 is not the end of the world. Depending upon which provider are you with you can still use 4G in most of the areas. For example, Vodafone customers are not affected by the lack of band 28 in their phones at all.

        • I'm with TPG (Vodafone) so band28 isn't an issue for me.
Been happy with 4G speeds, but wouldn't be suitable if you're with Telstra or Optus.
          Hope that helps!

I got this phone a few months ago and couldn't be happier. But thanks for your unsubstantiated and uninformative comment.

Battery time is amazing. I don't have to worry about how much I use my phone anymore.
It's runs like a dream. I play Hearthstone all the time and it runs perfectly.
Good build quality. I've dropped it multiple times with no effect.

  • Battery life?

    • 1-2 days.. i've got one and it lasts ages.. i use it pretty regular at times like music and BT and that lasts least 24 hours

    • Yup, so far the best battery life since I used smart phone. 1.5 - 2.5 days for me.

    • it's 4000mha + snapdragon 650. The battery will last longer than most phones on the market.

      • This is Redmi 3 not the note, its the 616. Battery is even better than the Note.

  • Banggood any deals for MI5 64gb?

    • And a deal for xiaomi Max 32gb please
