Any alternatives to the slim 5000? The battery in mine seems to be giving out after quite a lot of use. I know I'll get this with all of them.
Ideally something just as thin with ABS plastic instead.

How much use and how much wear does yours have? Bit worried :/.
Lithium batteries are only rated for 300 to 500 charge cycles.
So these are disposable.
Do not fret, I've had it for exactly two years and my recent usage has been running it down to zero on the 3-5 days per week it's in use recently.
If by wear you mean phsyical wear: probably not a lot, I was more concerned about it scratching my phone.
I guess I'll try the romoss, but I prefered when they were using Samsung cells.

Depends on what you're charging. Generally around a 65-70% conversion rate to charge after all losses, i.e. the 5000mAh will only charge a phone battery 3250mAh, and the 10000 6500mAh in total (roughly).

The usb c one is nice, but you still have to use a standard usb to usb c cable. It charges via usb c, but will only charge your phone via the standard usb socket.
Essentially this won't work with a usb c to usb c cable.
