  Saw this deal two days ago, wondering which one has better sound quality? BOSE SoundDock III or bose soundtouch 10?

    Not sure, but $55 extra for the bluetooth isn't bad.
    I just got this for the garage for the other half, and at least this will charge his ipod too.

      I have both a SoundTouch 10 and a SoundDock2 which is exactly the same as a SoundDock3 except for the connector type. My son uses the SoundDock2 for an old iPhone 4 for music/alarm clock. Convenient as a charging dock.

      The SoundDock3 has the better sound quality - it has stereo speakers, soundTouch 10 only has the one speaker.

      SoundTouch 10 is much more convenient. SoundTouch is basically the Bose version of Sonos. Apart from bluetooth you can hook it up to your wifi and then have preset buttons on the speaker/remote for Pandora or Spotify playlists/stations. Great when you just want some background music and don't want to fish around for your phone all the time.

    It's in their catalogue which finishes COB today, so I'm not sure why the price hike online.
