Aroma Bloom Ultrasonic 5-in-1 Diffuser for $80 + $8.95 Postage @ That's 2 Cute

20

The Aroma Bloom is a 5-in-1 ultrasonic aromatherapy diffuser, ionizer, humidifier, air purifier and night lamp.

I have researched on the Aroma Bloom and so far the best deal I found is with That's 2 Cute selling it for $80, although colours are limited (purple, fuschia & tangerine). The most expensive I've seen is selling it for $99.95. The organic essential oil at That's 2 Cute are discounted by almost $7. The postage is fair at $8.95. Can't wait to receive my order.

  • Not much use as a humidifier - water tank is tiny!

    • Works for 8 hours or longer with 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off setting.

      • Not sure what your point is. The tank capacity limits how much moisture the device can add to the surrounding air before refilling. Can't find specs on its rate of output, but if it lasts 8 hours on full rate, that's 200ml/8hrs or 25ml/hr. The Medescan Rainbow Mist humidifier for example has a much larger tank and does 280ml/hr on max output.

        • Ok. Thanks for clarifying your point.

I read these cheapo Chinese aroma diffusers cause cancer, they use toxic chemicals in the aroma liquid. I would avoid

Please clarify? If you are referring to the essential oil, then you have complete control over this (you do not have to purchase it from China).

Also, what's so special about this (apart from the "5-in-1" which is purely marketing bs)? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/221639837525?_trksid=p2060353.m14… has very similar specs for half the price, and it can operate continuously for 8 hours (as opposed to burst mode)

  • I am assuming you can always use any essential oils? I found I bought one of the cheapo cool mist diffusers on ebay which holds a much larger tank of water, and all it did was left a puddle of water in front of it. it didn't have the manufactures name on it.. so I am assuming a cheap copy cat version. I am assuming, that cheap ones perhaps dont break down the water very well, so it is heavy and cant carry very far in the air, and all it does is push out a lot of mist.. but that is about it. Whom wants wet furniture!
