I believe it's Aussie stock.
Thanks, I ducked in and got one. Great price!
The guy in the shop was very friendly and guaranteed me it was genuine Australian stock.. how would you tell anyway?
Stock levels or as displayed?
They said few of each left when we were there.
Less than 10?
Apart from having the box upside down, looks like a decent deal on the iPad Pro. Don't think I've seen it so cheap since last year from Dick Smith.
I would be very surprised it's Australian stock however.
Down from $1199 and $699 from their Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/OnAirMobilesThey may have bought it off Dick Smith?
Could be, but great price anyway.
Actually I found that they have another store at Grand Plaza Browns Plains but don't know what stock level they have there.

Interesting, great price in a small retailer.Just a heads up that there is no difference between the Mini 2 and Mini 3 other than the fingerprint home button. All the specs, innards and dimensions are exactly the same.
Don't know how reliable these guys are, but if you're not local and wishing to save a bit at the sacrifice of the fingerprint reader, these guys have it for $569.95 + $21.95 shipping for an iPad Mini 2 128GB LTE.

Great post though OP.
Bought a 128GB one yesterday from the Apple shock……typical!
Good deal and a fine tablet.
Love my ipad pro. I use it all teh time for meetings etc…
what do you actually do with it that a normal ipad or other tablet wont do.
What Pro features do you use all the time?fair question
I replaced my (much older ipad) so I used it to replace the old ipad
The keyboard is excellent (better than any aftermarket one I have ever used)
The stylus is great (much better than the Jot2 I used to use).On a usage level.
I use it whenever I have to go places but need to keep it small.
I use it in meetings.
Its fast and reliable (much more so than the osx/wintel machines)
I use it to remote into various servers I need to get to.I actually think the usage scenarios are different between the bigger ipad and the normal size one.
Its nearly a laptop replacement (not quite)thanks for answering.
so you have the 13inch one, so I guess like you say a kinda notebook replacement. ages ago I remoted into server with my old ipad and even my phone so thats nothing I suppose(apart from good screen space you have, especially with my eyes)
do you do much with the pen or is it more of a gadget to show off?
do you see the 9inch one being any more use, really, than the normal ipad.genuine questions from me, I am not picking an argument I am wondering if its worth the extra dollars, especially the 9inch model (plus choices of other tablet brands and small laptops)
@PVA:

Yes

Allows me to go in and mess with our VM Admin server.

I use it to sketch things out and also mark up PDF documents.
In particular i find it very convenient for writing notes on documents that im editing.do you see the 9inch one being any more use, really, than the normal ipad.
Not so much. I think that is more like a normal ipad. I think the screen is too small for a notebook replacement
It might be ok for notebook i guess but not my usage pattern.genuine questions from me, I am not picking an argument I am wondering if its worth the extra dollars, especially the 9inch model (plus choices of other tablet brands and small laptops)
no problem
id have considered the macbook but i like the touch screen for navigation. Also i wonder if its fast enough for osx.I should say it probably isnt for everyone but it does a particular job well for me.
@unifex: thanks.
Aussie stock do you know? or grey import?
