(Normally $175)A typical Glamour session will include:
• One hour with our professional make-up artist and hair stylist
• Another hour with our professional photographer
• Champagne on arrival, and
• A wonderful experience"Probably worth also investigating how much additional prints/enlargments will cost; possibly very expensive? Could be considered hidden costs as there doesn't seem to be any further information on their site.. No doubt the photos would be very good though.
Choice magazine did an expose on glamour photography deals a few years ago.
It is important to be aware of the contract implications; often they can use the imagery as they please (including pornographically - which was the case for at least one of the case studies) and may have hidden and ongoing costs.
(I don't have the article at hand to check the details, however, Choice should be able to direct you to the article, and it is typically available at public libraries if you'd like to scope this properly.)
Wow I didn't even think of the implications of not having the rights to your own pictures…
Extra photos cost a lot of money. The pressure to buy them is very strong. If they don't on-sell you the extra photos they lose money.
wonder if they give you digital copies of the photos taken..
I had a friend who tried this kind of thing. They didn't pressure her, but she really did want more than one of the photos … so there was a package and she rationalized their cost as a justification for extra expenditure.
I think she said it cost her $79 for a couple of extra photos, but that was years ago.
pics or it didn't happen :p j/k
hahah :)
sounds good i think ill get this for my mother for mothers day.
I read this as '1 hour make-out session'. Where are those glasses deals again?
ok upon looking at other places this is really cheap. whats the catch surely they are losing alot on a promo like this.
So for Melbourne only?
