    Brace yourselves folksā€¦
    The eBay deals are comingā€¦

Very good price for that blender. I bought one on the previous sale and it's been awesome for blending ice and making smoothies!

    • +2

completely agree! The blender is really good!

      • +2

        It's an awesome blender!

    • How good it is it for blending carrots / similar hard vegetables?

      • +1

It won't break a sweat - ice is harder then them and it has no issues with that.

700W is pretty good power for a blender.

  • +1

Definitely getting some awesome use from the blender. Absolutely worth the price! It blends ice very easily, just be careful of putting frozen fruit that's too large, may not actually blend if too big, best to cut the fruit to ice cube size before freezing.

  • thanks. bought the blender. not sure what for at this stage.. hopefully i can find some nice recipes online!

    • Things you can do with a blender:

      • puree shit for the best winter soup you'll ever have. also: sauces
      • leftover fruit or veg but too lazy to cut everything up? smoothie
      • baking. meringues will be a cinch, and so will various steps related to batter/dough
      • dips. hummus. peanut butter. endless shenanigans
      • puree shit

Interesting, haven't tried that one before… two ninjas one cup?

        • +1

          @ccrap
          I bet it's similar to crap. ;-)

  • does this one come with multiple cups or just one?

    • +1

      Two 470ml cups

      • Thanks, was just curious because the description didn't state anything on that.

        • It's in the description:

For added convenience, two small 470ml cups with sip and seal lids are included for when youre on the go, and the Ninja cups, lids and blades are all BPA free and dishwasher safe. Eating a variety of healthy foods is exciting and easy when you have Ninja Nutri Slim in your kitchen.

    No Chromecast Audio…

Any accessories for nutri ninja on sale?

  • +1

I wish the 2-in-1 model was as aggressively discounted/priced I need/want the chopper to puree meat unless the slim can do that on its own?

    • Just bought my mum the duo or whatever it's called for $306 with 5 year warranty for mother's day. Was about $260 before adding extended warranty.

FWIW, if you have your eyes on one, I'd jump at this price.

A quick calculation tells me it would be as low as $220ish after cash rewards ($223.20 without CR), significantly cheaper than any current price and I shopped around, checked OzBargain past deals, AND crunched some sales people as much as I could, etc. etc.

  • gg got it for like 37$ the other week

  • +2

Needed a chromecast, but not a blender…Ended up buying both - deal too good to resist.

Can confirm the discount code works with Delivery orders.

    • +5

Just make sure you don't blend the chromecast in excitement. It's actually used for the TV :p

  • +1

good blender and good price! paid $37 during last sale (off from $44).

  • +2

Does anyone know a PTSD support group I could join?

    • Paid $39.95 :(

      Paid $38.50 on Saturday :(

      • +1

Paid $31.96 just this morning and still awaiting collection. Well you win some and you… :(

        • +1

now $30.80.. The earlybird does not always get the worm!

        • +1

          @Zinger:
The Earlybird always gets the worm, but sometimes a bigger worm pops up much later.

Thanks op, was going to buy the blender yesterday, but luckily my ozbargain senses told me not to.

  • +2

Thanks op, was thinking of buying one and at this price I couldn't pass it up

  • +1

Dammit, I just paid $44 for one with these guys. Any way I can get them to refund the difference? :/

  • +1

grabbed 2, one for work, one for home

  • Is there any reason to upgrade a Chromecast to a Chromecast 2?

    • +1

i believe it has AC wifi so less clashes with your other wifi devices. I find version 1 is ok if it is near your wifi router. But otherwise i do not see any noticeable difference.

      • Do both support FHD only? Pretty sure I have seen mine working in FHD

        • Yes. Version 1 sometimes lags/buffers at beginning for a few seconds

        • @Skimpywallet: yeah sometimes, but I mainly use it for free Presto, and that has way more issues so it wouldn't make a difference for me I guess

  • just got one thanks can upgrade from my cheap 15 dolalr kmart pos one . my mother uses the blender and its great

  • Will TGG honer this deal in-store? I want to buy this for someone who is leaving in a few days.

    • +2

I bought it this morning and collected after 3 hours

    • +1

They will generally have pick up ready by the end of the day so you shouldn't have an issue with click and collect.

  • +1

Oh.. darn it. Now just as I decided that 32.98 is a really good price and bought it then immediately it become 30.8. ffs

    • +1

      Same. I feel dirty.

I bought this blender because of the blender hypes going around. Did anyone feel this wasn't as powerful as expected? Sometimes it gets stuck so I have to stop and press it again. Also consistency is not super smooth as there is some fibre left in the blend but maybe the only way to get rid of that is to either blend for longer at least 1-2min or buy the 900w one? Anyone has any info or opinions on this? It may even be that my blender was faulty lol.

    • At the end of the day its a 700w blender. It won't blend as fine as a Vitamix or Omniblend. There are some youtube videos by Omniblend showing their blenders blending a whole lemon compared to bullet blenders, obviously theirs results in less fibre and pulp at the end.

But that is a $300 blender, and this is only $30. I still recced it.

  • I bought this at the last ebay sale for $37!

Will it go down to $24.95 at the next ebay sale?
    Lolz

  • I have a cheap acer switch 2 in 1 I use for chromecast. On some sites if I need to cast the tab my acer gets to 100% cpu and the video is jumpy, is the chromecast 2 worth a go or is there no difference from the tablet side? Thanks

  • +1

Thanks. Got a chromecast 2, but from Bing Lee (C&C). Good Guys is slightly more expensive with shipping.

  • Anyone got any comments about Chromecast2 for streaming from plex to smart tv?

  • +1

Wow what a great price for the Nutri Ninja! I bought one from Coles a while back and it's one of the best appliances I have ever bought. The kids will love to experiment different recipes. I found (by accident) a recipe of orange dark chocolate smoothie totally awesome. :)

    • would you mind sharing the recipe?

  • +1

Thx. Passed on it when they had deals previously. Pulled the trigger for $35 delivered as CC is unavailable near me.

  • Out of stock online when I went to buy. That's for delivery to regional WA.

  • Back in stock for delivery, though 40c more now.
    39.00 less 20%, plus 3.46 delivery.

    34.66 delivered.
Was 34.26 early this morning. (30.80 +3.46 delivery)

  • Prices fluctuating quite a bit. CC2 is 59.00 less 20%, 47.20

And postage on the nutri slim just went to 15.78 to regional WA, up from 3.46

  • Bought it thinking I can get someone to help me pick it up. Nope. It's in the t&c ID need to match paypal transaction. Why so fussy for…?

Grabbed a Nutri-Ninja last night during the 'After Dark' period for $30.40 click-&-collect. I've got a TGG just down the road, so super-easy. Many thanks to those that posted the deal!! :-)

  • Got the nutri ninja today. Fast delivery but unhappy with TGG. They didn't bother to pack the box with anything, and just sent it with like that.

    • Same with me. And the packaging was damaged. Was meant to be a gift.

      • Sorry to hear that. Thank goodness mine (the box) was fairly undamaged and the device intact. But it could have been worse.

    • A previous Dyson I ordered came like that.
Box was back damaged and then was wrapped in brown paper and sent.

    Both gone!
