There are also heaps of games in shops, eBay and cash converters. Good if you are into retro consoles (or don't want to buy the latest and greatest).
Also check out ebgames also - I believe they have traded in ones for $79 … but $99 for a new one is a steal.

$100 Xbox + 10 Xbox games at $10 each + $299 — $499 for a brand new PlayStation 3 40GB! Certainly beats Big W and Kmart's offer at almost $600…

so anyone confirmed the trade in still exists? i think it was from a different store called 3 somthing and EB matched the deal. Deal was used xbox+10games+299 for a 40gb ps3.
I just wish the ps3 was modable otherwise i woulda went out and got one faster than u could say gone! hahaha

thanks for the heads up scotty. Got one. now just gotta get xbmc on there and get a cheap remote + hd cable and my media centre will be set. anyone got suggestions for cheap remotes/cables?
Are not u supposed to install mod b4 installing the software?
For remotes make sure you get hold of a genuine one. All other 3rd party remotes or look a likes on ebay are just crap. You basically have be standing right in front of the xbox for it to work. For cables any component one on ebay will do.
As for installing XBMC you will need either a modchip or the hardwarde to allow you to do a softmod. Either way it's an additional expense.
It's GAME thats offering PS3 for $299 with Xbox and 10 Games and that offer is still going.

cos i can prob get an old one for lik 60-70 bucks and games for lik 10 bucks so lik 160-170+300= $470 ish for ps3 ^^ I'M SOOO TEMPTED!
