Unless you are planning to fire it up 1000 times a day I wouldn't worry about how efficient it is. You are saving $100. Even if it wasnt energy efficient it would take 100's of years for the energy efficiency to come into play and the fact the dang thing will pack up after the warranty expires.
Apparently making one cup of coffee takes me energy than screaming non stop your whole life
I got a similar but older one with pods for $49 or so from OW. I like it a lot but it broke down last week and I had to buy a new one. WW got the bigger one on sale for $129.
I wish that this deal comes earlier so I could save $100 … Anyway, I think that $29 for a spare one could still be worth it.
Price of pods?
Around 38 cents each. I love the WoolWorths Expresso ones.
Interesting same price as Aldi
Didn't know Audi also deal in coffee.
I got one last year from Costco
when it was free with $60
worth of pods purchase
it is so far working great
pods you can use
woolies,Aldi,Map,Gloria Jeans
and all that are cafitally
so Aldi $5.99 for 16
map at coles on special most weeks 10 for $4 ($5 normal)
Aren't poems meant to rhyme.
Used to have a more expensive Nespresso capsule one, is there any much difference in taste (barring which capsules you use)? I used to use generic capsules anyway.
Easy as to refill with any decent coffee. This week suggest the 2x 1kg bags of Vittoria for $30 @ Woolies. Total spend of $59 for probably 2 years of great coffee!
Vittoria is good coffee
when I use my espresso machine
I use about 250gms at about
a week and a half max
so no way 2 years worth
No idea how you can refill pods though
OK. Well @ 8g per pod, that's 250 pods for $30, plus a few $ for Alfoil. Maybe buy 4kgs of Vittoria then!
They are one of the easiest to refill. Cut the top off, empty, clean. Place in bottom filter, add a scoop of coffee (Vittoria sometimes provide the perfect size scoop), tamp down with an upside down Nespresso pod, place on top filter, cover with Alfoil.

I find my custom fills much better, and it's good for your wallet and the environment!
When u can get the moccona pods on sale it comes down to about 30 cents each from woolie. Not sure if it works with expressi.
Mocona works
Last time when I tried the expressi machine I used the Gloria jeans coffee pods.
It was a bit loose but it works.
Any other Costco has it at this price? Should be national I'm guessing.
I got one from Adelaide Costco 4 days ago there is 1 left by the time
Available at ringwood too
Got one today at Auburn Costco, plenty of stock. Can't go wrong at this price with warranty.
Very cheap deal.
are these energy efficient?
