hey OP, so many views and comments and only one +1 indicates a problem with your 'deal of a lifetime'. might be worth going to your boss and trying to rehash those delivery fees if you want this one to soar like an eagle

    • Hi 191919, delivery fees are Australia Post rates from here. :(

      • +1

How can it be true that the "delivery fees are Australia Post rates". Is the folded banner really that enormous?

1.5 square meters on 460 gsm should weight 690 grams plus eyelets plus packaging. Maybe 900 grams?

If you are putting such a low weight into a 5 kg Express Post satchel you really need to re-evaluate your shipping method, because most people don't need express post. You can use parcel post. And if you use your own larger packaging with the low weight <1kg, you can get it delivered at significantly lower rates.

        • Hi twocsies.

You cannot put a vinyl banner in a satchel. Folding the banner will damage your prints.
It must be put in a tube.

        • @charco:
This seems like a generous tube dimensions:

          https://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/calculate-postage-deliveā€¦
          Your Item Size: 105 x 20 x 20cm Weight: 1kg
          total price $13.95
          Change Clear
          $13.95

        • @twocsies:

Twocsies, the weight is incorrect. It is over 1KG.
The delivery fees are based on freight & packaging cost.

It is still a very good deal for a vinyl banner even if you add
the freight cost to the vinyl banner.

          @charco:

Maybe you can be more careful then. You stated that "delivery fees are Australia Post rates", but now you say that "The delivery fees are based on freight & packaging cost". Australia Post doesn't have tube long enough that the banner wouldn't fold (longest is 90 diam. x 850mm long at $5.35), so those packaging costs are apparently not Australia Post rates. Next thing, we'll find out that handling fees are included and that it goes by courier…

Can't understand why the weight is so high. 450 GSM * 1.5 square meters… 2 kg???

  • What do photographs look like printed upon these?
    Reasonable?

    • Hi Damion, if you are worried about skin tones and colour accuracy on photographs, then this deal is not
for you. Printing on any Vinyl banner stock will not give you the accuracy you need. Though it is reasonable,
photographers are generally a bit more picky with colours.

Just attempted to place multiple orders against my better judgement. As soon as card details are entered web page shuts down with no notification or email or anything. Quite certain I just got raided for $10. If OP could comment that would be fantastic.

    • Hi Ashraph6, on Monday morning, please speak to someone on LIVE SUPPORT to find out what happened. Thanks.

      • If the page closes right after payment, this is NORMAL!

It's a shame the site was designed like this - to not have a 'payment confirmed' page. I got the same thing too, but I was not over-charged.
You MUST click on 'My Account' on the top right corner, then 'My Orders' to see if you've been charged correctly.

Also, it would be great if the checkout page had some sort of secure connection (or even just some notification) for payment.

It's concerning seeing a 'send info to third-party' warning message pop up just before paying, but I was (somewhat) assured that the 'third-party' was just NAB verifying the payment.

        • Terrible site. I did click on my account after attempting twice and nothing is there. Checked banking details and wasn't charged as of yet just a massive waste of time.

        • Hi Silverrat23, there is a confirm page. It is located in step 3. ORDER REVIEW.

  • Hi,
I have sent an email about two of my orders.
If you could please response that would be great.

    Thank you.

    • Hi Conngo, please go onto LIVE support for help about orders.

  • Just picked mine up today.

Great quality banner, terrible online payment system.

    Cheers.
