Free 700 AAdvantage Miles (Use on American Airlines + Partners)

160

Similar to this deal from last year. These can be used on American Airlines and are worth in real terms probably about around $14 (valued at 2c AUD per mile).

I still have the 1000 miles from the last deal which expires at the end of this year. If you have miles that are expiring, this promotion should push the expiry out further into the future.

  • To get 350 miles, just fill out your details on the page. You will receive an email notification right after you enter.
  • To receive the 2nd round of 350 miles, you need to share on Facebook, Twitter or send them an email ([email protected]). You can just set the Facebook post for only be seen by yourself so you don't alienate your Facebook friends. I didn't receive any notification for entering the Facebook part.

  • Your miles will be deposited into your account 6 to 8 weeks after this promotion ends.

Also AA is offering a 35% discount + bonus miles when you buy miles until June. This yields the cheapest per mile price of 1.89 US cents per mile when buying 150,000 miles with a 15,000 mile bonus and runs until June 1st. See Pointhacks for more info.

The last deal said the same but they credited the miles anyway.

  • thx

  • AA, despite the devaluation is still a hell of a FF to get for First + Business class flights. I don't think their economy rates are the best though for short distances or within Australia.

I've been using AA for a few years now, got great value, so wouldn't say no to these :)
