Besides, there are a number of items on sale which I thought are quite worthwhile.
I have never been, and thoroughly enjoyed the visit the other day.

With 500 people lining up its perfect for charity collectors to walk along the line asking for donations. People can't walk away ……don't have ask do you have a minute ….people in line will have lots……hmmm donate to the puppy foundation or look cheap in front of my potential future wife ….we have so much in common…..freebies…..better than tinder or RSVP and you know they are local.
Seriously, kudos to the people doing stuff like this. You are making the world a better place. This isn't like some huge rich company giving a couple of their products away Free just to generate free publicity whilst xxxxing off thousands who had an entire day and night wasted and are turned away disappointed. This is a small company giving away a sizeable amount for a lot of customers. I salute you.
Making 500 people stand inline is a bit of a stunt ……they could have said register online, we will reply if you are in the 500, if you are come and pickup your cake, instead some will be disappointed after waiting inline and not being in the select 500, some of those might actually be neeedy people rather than well off who just want a freebie eg those in the housing commission nearby.
Go to the local primary school where those commission kids go 'hey kids who wants to give mum a surprise with a cake for mothers day'

Cant be effed if there is a queue or whole lot of carrying on. Sat AM is usually pretty busy down there as there is a supermarket across the carpark.
Just picked one up. There is no line, no signs or ads outside either. But I am not sure how many are left, they store it at the back.
Also, it's frozen so I have to rush home instead of having Dominos for lunch.

I think they were starting to set up when I was there at about 11.30. There were a couple of Nova posters and an empty table.
