  • They should make an English video in Australia if they want to reach a wider audience

Yeah they don't care. There's the Nepalese restaurants that cater to foreigners and Indians (with butter chicken and naan on their menu), then there's the ones who focus on street style authentic for the Nepalese diaspora abroad. I live in Perth and this is what I see here. Not sure about this restaurant but it seems like it's in the latter category

      • We, native English speakers, like to call it naan bread

      • I wouldn’t say they don’t care, but it seems that Nepalese restaurants, as they invest more, focus on attracting a broader clientele to recover their investments. This often leads to incorporating fusion elements into their dishes and flavors to appeal to a non-Nepalese audience. However, some restaurants remain committed to offering authentic flavors as much as possible to build a strong and distinctive brand identity.

        • Nepali food is not very well known and being a Nepali language video it will track better on social media with Nepalis in Aus, which is the target audience they are going for.

Plus all the important stuff was in English. Most of the talk in Nepali was just saying how good the other menu items were.

I am here now enjoying the momos and the five dollar chicken biryani fried rice.
I am no momo expert, but I really liked these. They are very tasty, not fatty and served with a lovely sauce. The biryani was fantastic. Very well balanced spices, nice heat level and not greasy. Not a huge serving as expected, but based on this dish, I will be back to try their other food.
The lady at the register was very excited when I ordered 999 lol.

      • well done

  • Is this deal still on? How come it's not marked as EXPIRED yet?

    • The Facebook post says till the end of the month.
