Any stock in Werribee, VIC?
Yeah hoppers crossing had 15, didn't post it so my mate could get them; I think the is some left 👍
There was a lot at Hoppers… smiles
Looks like Bunnings got flooded today.. by OzBunnies.. err OzBargainers.
nunawading vic cleaned out
Just whacked a house plug on them. Nice and bright. I still have spots in my eyes.
18 of these in Alexandria NSW but none south of there in Sydney
Dammit. None at Caroline springs
Few left at hoppers crossing shhhh
Are these that much better than the Arlec ones that were posted the other day? I'm not sure why or by how much?
These are an LED floodlight.
The Arlec ones that I remember were a Halogen floodlight with 2 x horrible LED retrofit lamps jammed in there.
On looks alone these are about 2 million percent better.
Yeah I realise that, what I am trying to get at is are these just inflated rrp because they are old stock and LED lights have come down so much, as the Arlecs are new and would be priced accordingly, IR are they the difference in rrp better?
Yes they look better, and they may be better waterproofed, and the light may be better in temperature or brightness and the sensors may be better but i don't know any of thishat I am trying to get at is are these just inflated rrp
Where is the inflated RRP? They are $20.
Ecosmart lighting is just some random store, the $195 or whatever is nothing to do with reality.
Most electrical and lighting products don't have a RRP - they are sold at "wholesale price" and retailers simply sell them for whatever they think they can get.
Yes they look better, and they may be better waterproofed, and the light may be better in temperature or brightness and the sensors may be better but i don't know any of this
The Arlec is a cheapest possible plastic floodlight designed for 120W halogen lamps. It's not "new" - it's prehistoric!
Then the Arlec has 2 of the most cheap and nasty LED Retrofit lamps screwed into it. There is no "technology" here - it's the absolute lowest possible form of LED exterior light possible. Except for a single-head version of the same thing.
This Crompton is an engineered LED product. It's die-cast aluminium, and it has a sealed cover glass. It looks decent, almost architectural in structure. This is not "old stock".
@llama: the OP clearly states rrp 195, i haven't fact checked him, but it appears he may be wrong. When I called they said it was a Promo item so it's not old stock after all.
Also no stock left at Alexandria as of tonight
@llama: They seem to be on a few other local online retailers as well at around the $190-$230 mark. Having said that I couldn't justify that kind of money for these lights.
Yay got one at Fountain gate.. believe they may have a few more left. They were well hidden.
Thanks OP just bought 5
nothing in the Illawarra
Scoresby out of stock now. Saw another awkward person scanning the lighting section.. must have been a fellow ozbargainer.. B-)
Bunning Alexandria still have stock. White, silver and black.
None in the NT. Apparently it's a promotional item and not been restocked.
any in WA?
When the guy checked for me in the NT he mentioned a few WA locations that didn't have stock as well, only remember Broome as the other locations were not familiar to me.
Yet another excellent example of the Bunnings unwritten/unofficial stance (for fear of ACCC ramifications) that "if you supply Masters, we will no longer stock your product". Expect second-rate Chinese models to fill the shelf space at just a slightly cheaper price in the near future.
Just rang my local Bunnings who checked NSW stock levels:
Belrose = 9
Alexandria = 3
West Gosford = 12 left at Belrose (no I didn't buy 7!)
None left. I bought the last 2. Thanks for leaving some.
Actually there's probably 2 left that the staff put on hold for somebody who hadn't collected yet. If you ask them nicely they may give them to you!
Just saw a listing for 5 on Gumtree for $125 each! If I didn't need to use the ones I got I'd sell them too.
Crompton security type alternative pre wired with plug available here
Seller is selling in lots of 1, 2 and 4 with click & collect at Woolworths stores. Not quite as higher spec as posted here but more suitable for me being security type and plug in. Listing finishes today unless relisted.
Went to Nottinghill Vic.
Never had them in stock.
He said none left in Vic.If you can be bothered try the fountain gate store - I got the guy to put 4 whites on hold for me yesterday.
I got the last two at Vermont South. Not on shelves. The staff went and found out the back.
None that I could find at Castle Hill (Sydney) last night. The stuff is scattered all over the place, so I only
wastedspent 30 minutes searching.Place is huge, so I only searched the electrical and lighting areas, not every aisle. I've fond that Bunnings have a habit of putting real bargains in completely unrelated aisles (eg: $10 personal weight scales in the nuts and bolts area)
None at Villawood NSW. None of the Arlec Par38 as well. They never seem to have any stock that is posted on Ozbargain.
None in ACT (Gungahlin and Tuggeranong checked… dont know about others).
None in Croydon, but apparently the computer says there's 5 black in nunawading. I can't be stuffed making the trip and I know someone said there's none there, but if someone is still keen there may be some chance.
I'd go, I went back to check bayswater just then, all gone, or so I thought, crawled down underneath the shelves rummaged around, and lo and behold, 2 with sensors hiding in the dark dark depths that is between the shelves.
Yes I found myself doing the same at another Bunnings store. People must take OzB'ers as fools. Don't bother hiding stock.. We will find them!
Bought 2x the xL-led last Thursday at woodville bunnings SA (port road) but now sold out. Went back and bought 4 of these -http://www.crompton.com.au/products/floodlights/led/20w-ip65-led-weatherproof-floodlight for $19. Still 10+ left Sunday 3pm, be quick
Just got one set up, damn they are good, throw out heaps of light, great buy!
Doesnt seem to be any at innaloo
