YouFoodz is $10/portion, fresh not frozen, lasts up to a week and is available from most IGA supermarkets. Whilst it is definitely priced according to the OzBargain metric it is a lot better value than what Roth & Thane are offering…

  • You recieve 15% off $45 for 3 meals.
That's works out to be only $12.75 for a gourmet lunch delivered straight to your office at a time you specify.
No time wasting. No ordinary boring lunches. No waiting. No excessive spending.
Continue this service or cancel after the week, it's completely at your discretion. You can even pause your order if you'd prefer no to recieve it that day.

    • Ha!

->Normally $15/meal, one time only special of $12.75/meal
      ->No excessive spending

  • The meals at youFoodz actually have a shelf life of 7-9 days making them not really "fresh" as it seems. Ross and Zane is actually made fresh, ready to eat without microwaving.

Also, Minimum order for youFoodz is $69 which is really high.

    Pays to do your research.

Ross and Zane are by far the best alternative.

    • How is it "not really fresh" when they don't require reheating? Whether it's eaten hot or fresh from the fridge is the consumer's perogative.

As pointed out you can buy Youfoodz from many IGA and even Foodland stores now, or buy seven & get free delivery…Which works out to be around 4.67 of whatever R&Z are dishing up.

I like how you can't claim it's the best value, clearly it's not, but is marketed as the best "alternative". Nice spin.

    As Youfoodz states:
Youfoodz sources the freshest produce that is cooked, packaged and delivered within a 24-hour timeframe. We seal our meals using "Modified Atmosphere Packaging"

    Meaning:
Youfoodz cooks and packages your meal up to 24 hours before delivery.

R&Z cooks your meal FRESH, all gourmet cuisines are cooked just before it's delivered to you! It's not reheated. THIS IS FRESH!

Also, There is nothing gourmet about chicken rissoles and spaghetti meatballs.

If you'd like to order your estimated 4.67 ordinary precooked and packaged meals from IGA and foodland be my guest.

But maybe you should actually try R&Z before judging their proposed 'value'.

I am certain they are not the same recipes, quality or freshness.

You get what you pay for.
