Kurt Russell was superb in my opinion

  • The regular price is $17.99 SD and $19.99 HD.

Normal price is $17.99 to stream one SD movie ??

      • +3

        That's pretty ridiculous :)

      • +3

        That's insane!

      • +3

I think that's to buy, not rent… I could be mistaken.
The post is a bit confusing as the title says:
        'Watch The Hateful Eight for…'
        but the T&Cs say:
'Own THE HATEFUL EIGHT on Dendy Direct for the promotional price of…'

        Rep, care to clarify?

  • Great film.

One of the most boring movies I have ever watched

    • haha. This is so true. Saw this at the cinemas expecting some western with decent action, got a stage play.

      • +1

You guys wouldn't know a cinematic film if it blew your face apart….

  • $18 SD or $20 HD @ Google Play. $25 DVD or $30 BR @ JB.

OP please define "Watch" VS "Rent" or "Own" …

Is this deal to own the movie?

    • It's obvious if you click through to the site. The button says own.

    • At Dendy, we love people who love to rent movies! We are giving you the opportunity to WATCH (own) this latest Tarantino movie for the price of a rental for a limited time.

      • +2

You do know you get to watch rentals too right?

      • +1

So then just say own! Not too difficult to say that!

      • +3

You're not doing yourselves any favours with that confusing terminology…last time I checked there was a big difference in definition between the two words "watch" & "own".

FWIW, I watched Captain America: Civil War last week, but that doesn't mean I own it now! ;)

        • -1

Nobody "owns" anything star being, only when the last drop of water is drunk will we realise that money can't be breathed.

        • @Tasmaniac: I presume that you're attempting to quote the old Cree Proverb:

Only when the last tree has died
and the last river been poisoned
and the last fish been caught
will we realise we cannot eat money

It's actually rather poignant, although I'm not entirely sure that it applies here. ;)

        • @StewBalls: Your knowledge of Asian proverbs is impeccable but you still have much to learn, remember a thousand kilometer journey begins with a simple walk to the car.

Ha ha, I came to downvote this deal because it was such a terrible movie … Then realized I was actually thinking of the Adam Sandler movie "The Ridiculous Six".

I had issues with my purchase of Star Wars The Force Awakens from Dendy and I won't be going back again.

Issues included downloading the entire move (8 gig) and then it refusing to play as it couldn't find the licence and also ran in to issues when trying to play the stream direct to my Sony Android TV and Chromecast device.

I sent them a couple of emails about the issues but never got a reply.

Much happier with my Blu-ray and digital copy of the movie through Google Movies. It just works.

    • Yeah. I had problems with star wars too. But prior to that I purchased "the Martian" (similar deal) and I didn't have any issues with that movie. So it's been 50/50 for service. I wasn't a fan of the hateful eight. So I'm going to give it a miss. But, I'll definitely try them again if another movie comes out that's similar priced.

I find I can stream dendy direct better than google play movies. Less buffering.

  • will it work through airplay?

  • Not interested in the dendy service. Not going to adopt your platform. TELL THEM THEYRE DREAMING!

    • Well that's just fine and dendy like sour candy.
