      yes it is

  • Literally just bought a DVD set for my mum a week or so ago. Damn… :D

    • +5

Buy it again at 20% off, return it using the old receipt and get full price refund?

  • Does this stack with their 3 for 2 deals etc?

    • normally does :)

    • +1

Is there a 3 for 2 deal at the moment? :O

      • I dunno, whenever I go in to get blurays there's always some labelled buy 2 get 3. So it's a selected list. I think that always on. I don't go that often so may be wrong.

        • +1

Not at the moment unfortunately :(

    • +1

No combo deals exist at the moment.

    • +1

YOu can also rent it free from videoezy kiosk.

  • +4

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is $23.98 if anyone forgot to get it cheap on release…

  • When does the sale end?

    • The posters in store say 8/5/16 as end date. Which is disappointing as unlikely to see deadpool included

    • +1

      8th May

  • Computer says no for pre-orders :(

  • There should not be apostrophe in DVDs. Using apostrophe means something has been omitted or it shows possession.

You're grammar doesn't appear that crash hot either.

Edit: yeah typo, but that's cos I'm on my phone, which is why it's slightly annoying when ppl corre t grammar on here.

There should not be AN apostrophe in DVDs. Using AN apostrophe means something has been omitted or it shows possession.

  • 20% off is good, but if you know how much some things regularly cost you might notice, as I just did, that the RRP may have been jacked up prior to this sale. I bought 3D MockingJay2 a week ago for $34.95, but now it's $39.95, so the discount is really not 20% anymore.

I don't think it's jacked up before a sale. In my experience, a wide range of JB's DVD/Bluray stock is "on special" when it's a new release, no doubt due to the level of stock they carry. Once they sell through and only have a couple of copies, it goes up in price (hence why new releases always have a yellow price sticker over the top of the regular white one)

Back to the Future 30th anniversary blu-ray was $23 in store about 4 months ago, I was um-ing and ar-ing about it, ever since I looked again its $35, so maybe they have reduced price periods when they are over-stoicked on an item?

    • Adventure time box set went up 15 dollars today :(

    • +4

The Wire went up $25. Sheeeeeit.

    • +1

They excluded mockingjay 2 from the last 20% off anyway

  • +4

Bring on the 20% off CDs… although I think I'm the last guy in Australia buying them

    • +3

I was in JB yesterday and a lady was asking a staff member where she could find the single of the number one song in the country :/

  • Cheers mate :)

If any one is interested The Walk 3D and Everest 3D are $20 each now
