They are a business, they have to make money somewhere. It's not cheap to run a place like that.
Paintball is an expensive sport to play in Australia, even if you play are on a sponsored team with your own gear. You can probably thank Martin Bryant for that.
Scam? Far out, this is the most unreasonable comment I've ever seen on Ozbargain.
While it probably should be mentioned in the ad, I think your negative is very unreasonable. How can this deal constitute a scam? Its easily the cheapest Paintball deal I've seen in ages, and gives you option of 500 paintballs, more then enough for a half-fullday session.

Nope… It says all the essentials is provided.
u might have to pay for upgrades so u get the basic gun and mask and belt for bullets but any upgrade u probably will pay.
Which will be i think at the minimum the gun.
Uhm, once the deal goes live, will the coupon only expire when the time limit is up? Or is there a set quantity for the coupon and may run out before the time limit is up?

As per description and Scoopon, it is live. Deals that haven't gone through are not permitted here.

My guess is as it's not actually physical stock that it will expire when the time runs out instead of selling out.
I actually just called the Paintball place, and that guy isn't sure of anything at all. He said he doesn't know if it will be applicable on weekends, and then he also mentioned that it will only apply to NEW bookings. My friends have booked and paid deposit for a session and were hoping to use this but probably can't now. He said you might have to mention this coupon when booking.
Nowhere in the terms state any of these though. All he said was they can only be sure of the "terms" on Friday, which is the start date for the coupon. That should not be the case since the deal is live now. He's essentially saying they will make the rules as they go depending on how popular the deal is.
that actually sounds pretty dodgy. I don't think this is going to be quite as good a deal as some think - not when they can decide what you get AFTER you've bought it!!

generally its just the cup and breast plate for girls.
