  Yeah would rather get the 2nd gen for a bit more. The unified search plus dual band ac wifi are huge.

There's a vendor at Wantirna Sunday Market (VIC) that has a lot of these. I got myself one about 2 months ago and there's still stock for $15 each 1st Gen Chromecast. Same guy is selling 2nd gen Type covers for Surface Pros (1&2) for $40 each, crap colors (subjective) though (pink, purple).
